Viva Heavens by Wyndham

The resort is small, we had an amnesia room which was beautiful and lots of space. A shout out to housekeeping who kept it clean and well stocked with towels & pop. There was only one pool which was ok because it is the slower season right now. There was also really only one bar at the resort by the pool, but the bartenders were great. There was a bar at the beach , the bartenders were miserable and unkind, so we spent most of our time at the pool.The food was ok, not great but pasta station was good, Michael is such a sweet young man who always looked after us. and a special mention Juan who was “jaun in a million” he went above and beyond to cut us up a mango for dessert in the Mexican restaurant because we were craving some fruit. The beach is about a 5 minute walk…very windy all the time but beautiful. The strength of this resort is its animation team. We made an effort to get to know them and once we did, they treated us family. We will always remember Speedy, Esther, Thomas, Marissa, and Ramirez you all are such special people who helped us make wonderful memories. You hold a special place in our hearts.❤️

I had such a beautiful trip with my family at viva heavens puerto plata! The resort itself is quite small and underwhelming, with only one small pool, bar, and buffet. The walk to the beach was also a bit longer than I would have preferred (about 5-10 minutes), and the beach itself was too windy to relax on. Aside from the property/amenities, the staff (and especially the entertainment team) made it such a great experience. Big shoutout to Esther, Monica, Timeo, Tomas, Marissa, Aguja, Luna, and Speedy for making us feel at home during our stay. They are so kind, great at dancing, and facilitating activities! It truly made our experience unforgettable.

We spent a wonderful week at this resort ⛵. A beautiful beach ⛱️, cozy and clean room with comfortable beds, delicious food - everything you need for a great vacation!!! At the reception desk you will be met by attentive and professional Jennifer, Angel and JhoeneyCruz,who will solve your problems and questions in a matter of minutes. It's a nice start the day with a cup of coffee ☕ and smile from Luz Maria and Winston at the pool bar. Thanks for cocktails Aurilio and Jose. Very good impression from the Mexican 🌮 and Dominican restaurant. Thanks 👍 Francisco Captain!! A huge thank you to the entertainment team!!! Beautiful and wonderful show every night. Especially Libertango!!!! Bravo 👏!!! We can confidently recommend this resort to our friends and will definitely be back.

It was our 2d visit to Viva Heavens this year, no regrets. Amazing beach, clean premises, good quality food with thematic suppers and of course excellent team working hard to make your vacation pleasant, always attentive to customers requests. Special gratitude to front desk manager Francisco and Jhoeney, buffet hostess Maria, Beach Bar Leonardo Garcia, pool bar Luz Maria. No doubts, we will be coming back next year, at this place we know our vacation is guaranteed to be excellent.

Very good hotel, with amazing staff ready to help you out. The hotel is super clean and organized, as they are always changing things around. The entertainment team is incredible, with a huge shout out to Ramirez and Felix who were incredibly fun to be around and made my stay unforgettable. Shout out to the girls in the team as well since they are very nice 😊
