Impressive Punta Cana

Our vacation turned into a nightmare due to gross negligence regarding the air quality in the rooms. Our children were placed in a room with a nauseating smell of toxic mold, wafting from the central air conditioning. The housekeeping staff downplayed the problem, telling us to leave the balcony doors open. Management provided a dehumidifier, demonstrating awareness of the danger, but failed to safely move us to another room. Our children suffer from chronic asthma. On the fourth night, at 1:00 AM, the contaminated air triggered an acute and life-threatening asthma attack in our 8-year-old son. The resort staff completely ignored our emergency calls. My husband had to rush to the front desk himself; the night manager promised help but abandoned us. We had to evacuate our choking children ourselves in the middle of the night. The resort management subsequently admitted their fault in writing via email and offered a full refund. However, they are acting in bad faith by withholding the refund we are contractually entitled to and refusing to credit our account unless we sign a full personal injury release. We have rejected this coercive agreement and are currently pursuing legal action. We have medical records from Florida from a recent emergency room visit documenting ongoing pediatric lung inflammation, a direct result of this exposure. Avoid this facility if you care about your family's safety.

Extremely Disappointing Experience – Definitely Not a 5-Star Resort! ⭐ 1/5 We recently stayed at Impressive Punta Cana with our two young children, a 3-year-old and a 4-month-old baby, and unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing. First of all, this resort is nowhere near the 5-star standard it advertises. The difference between what is promised and what is actually delivered is shocking. Staff and Customer Service: The majority of the staff were rude, unhelpful, and unprofessional. We encountered perhaps two genuinely friendly employees during our entire stay. Whenever we asked for assistance, we were often met with unpleasant attitudes, dismissive answers, or excuses. On one occasion, we had no bath towels in our room. I called reception because I needed to bathe my children, including my baby, and even such a basic request became unnecessarily difficult. Construction Noise – Absolutely Unacceptable: The resort was undergoing major construction and renovation work, and our room was located right next to the construction area. The noise started as early as 6 AM and continued until 10 or even 11 PM. Imagine trying to relax on a family holiday or put a baby to sleep with constant drilling, banging, and construction noise! We paid for a relaxing holiday, not to stay next to a building site. Guests should be clearly informed about ongoing construction before booking. Food and Hygiene: The food was another major disappointment. Even worse, our entire family experienced stomach problems after eating at the resort. We believe the food was responsible, which made the experience even more upsetting, especially while travelling with two small children. Food quality, hygiene, and safety should be absolute priorities at any hotel claiming to be 5-star. Overall Experience: This holiday was supposed to be a relaxing and memorable family experience, but instead, it became stressful, exhausting, and frustrating. We paid for a 5-star holiday and received a level of service and comfort that fell far below expectations. I am extremely disappointed that a resort can advertise itself as a luxury destination while offering such poor customer service, unacceptable construction noise, and disappointing food. I would not recommend Impressive Punta Cana to families. I sincerely hope the management takes these complaints seriously and offers appropriate compensation to guests whose holidays have been negatively affected. Definitely not the 5-star experience we paid for, and sadly, not a resort we would choose again.

Just back from a 11 night stay,we paid for premium which was meant to be for top end drinks and use off premium restaurants, the drinks were far from top end they were watered down local cheep stuff especially in the premium beach bar,the restaurant we liked to use for breakfast and lunch was very disappointing,on several occasions we got turned away as it was full of non premium guests,we went to the non premium restaurant to find it empty and the food was of poor quality and cold, however we had a butler ( Jorge ) who was fantastic,he checked in on us every day and he made sure we had a decent place to eat in the evening’s booking the restaurants for us,apart from the restaurant problems we had a very relaxed holiday,in the evenings after dinner we would go to the Diamond bar which was very quiet and very relaxed with the lovely Tanains serving us.as for the building work going on it never bothered us at all.

Hotel was great, the main pool was closed but the other pools were all great. 😊 The entertainment team were fantastic, always engaging us all and making us have such fun. In particular, 911 - he was amazing and made the holiday so memorable. He’s a great dancer and has such great energy! 💃👍 The bar staff were fantastic too. Not a single thing to complain about with the staff at all. 👏

Games annd interaction really good. We are having fun!!
