Riu Palace Punta Cana

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Riu Palace Punta Cana! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and well looked after. The hotel is beautiful, clean and surrounded by gorgeous tropical scenery. The beach is absolutely stunning, with soft white sand, palm trees and warm turquoise water — exactly what you imagine when you think of the Caribbean! The pools and hotel grounds are also very well maintained. The food was delicious with plenty of choice every day, and we really enjoyed the restaurants, drinks and overall All Inclusive experience. The staff were always friendly, polite and hardworking, and they made our holiday feel even more special. Our room was comfortable and clean, and the whole resort had a lovely, relaxing atmosphere. There was a great balance between entertainment and relaxation, so you could always find something to do or simply enjoy the beautiful surroundings. We came home with so many amazing memories. Punta Cana is a beautiful place, and Riu Palace Punta Cana made our holiday truly unforgettable. We would happily come back again and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a wonderful Caribbean holiday! 🌴☀️🌊❤️ Thank you to all the staff for such an amazing experience!

I will try to brief, stayed 11 nights in early Sept 26. POSITIVES The building itself was majestic , like all Riu’s Communal areas were clean, classy and well presented Good post checkout facilities, showers, suitcase storage etc Plenty of sunbeds Excellent attentive employees Rooms were spacious, but a need a little TLC NEGATIVES: Food was ok, but could be better. Pools heavily chlorinated suggesting sanitation issues No quiet pool, always loud events. Smoking allowed almost everywhere Age inappropriate music played by the entertainment team during the day for pool exercises Total lack of any sugar free sodas so diabetics struggled Only opening 2 à la carte restaurants a day on a first come first served basis

The food was absolutely disgusting the worst I have ever had in my life I was sick most of my 10 day stay and had to go to a local hospital they ran blood and stool tests said I had severe food poisoning I have never been so ill and all 6of my travelling companions had the same thing that is the food…. Most of the lifts do not work sometimes you can get stuck in the in sweltering heat (happy days) in side the lifts they are extremely poorly maintained had rails ripped off. Don’t not say here it is a real dive

Can't fault this hotel, first time in the Dominican, all areas clean, plenty of sunbeds, preferred the quiet pool than the swim up bar, as people in there all day drinking and not leaving to use the bathroom! Beach lovely can get seeweed depending on the tide, walked for miles and the sunset is lovely, varietion of restuarants very good and the buffet also good

Poor location nothing around you atmosphere ok if your foreign room ok poor value for money evening entertainment deff not caters for English people
