Riu Palace Punta Cana

What impressed me the most was the changes of free drinks at the PACHA RIU club. Unlike before, where guests had to pay for drinks, despite staying at the All inclusive, which was absurd. People complained and obtaining Great results. Bravo guys, well done.!!! Drinks at the Riu Palace Punta Cana should be updated, lack of/ zero Cognac , cheap whiskey For the amount of money ipaidfor the stay is ridiculous 🙄!!!!

This was an excellent property. The reason for the 4 stars is because the room needed a deep cleaning specially the bathroom. The staff made our stay because they made us feel welcome specially the dining staff. A big thank You to Orlando, Dionis, Morrillo, Francisca and Maris.

First impressions were very good, however, this quickly went downhill upon seeing the rooms, lifts and pool area. These places looked old, worn and shabby. Pool area was never cleaned to the usual standards associated with other Riu hotels we have stayed in. We had 2 adjoining family rooms and upon arrival our daughters room had no functioning air conditioning and the ceiling fan would not work either. The variety of food was excellent, but it was never kept at the proper temperatures, hot food being cold and cold food being warm. Subsequently, 4 out of our party of 6, had several days of diarrhoea and stomach cramps. Overall, l agree with other reviews of this hotel, it is definitely not 4 star, it might scrape 3 stars on a good day, book elsewhere with your hard earned cash, as regular Riu uses, we were very disappointed with this hotel and the price we had paid.

The trip was good but the mattresses and shower parts had lots of stains and mold on them,also outside on the balcony.. I stayed in room 3067.

This is my 5th time I believe so, but this the worst experience, the staff horrible, the animation team the worst they not doing nothing to put the tourist in action, but the bar in the pool I think almost all the bar men are drunk I never see a manager to see what's going on with this employee . The food in the buffet the best not only the food, but the employee are great specifically Juan Carlos excellent. Pay more attention for the bar employees in the pool and the animation.
