Loved the room and we loved Santiago he needs a raise and we very much appreciated his help with everything

I would never go back! Lobby looks old outdated and very small , dirty , nothing like this I have seen before omg! Food Cuban style , drinks so so although Cuba has better drinks. Close to the beach they serve hamburgers and fries omg they were all burned badly when we have told the girl that they are not eatable she start coursing us in Spanish mean while I understood all when I told her that I understand what she said she turn her back on us !! Bartenders all nice and kind !! Restaurant under the Sea one of the best!! Horrible beach lots of sewed no one cleans there. Over all dirty place !!! I would never go back!

I would like to say that staying in this resort was very disappointing for many reasons. I will start with the checkin process which is horrible, I did the online precheck in, but upon arriving there is no one staffing the precheck in line, so I had to wait in the normal line. The room was not ready until about 30min after the check in time. The room is in need of repair and was comfortable but not what I would consider an "autograph" collection level. The location of the room I got was very good, next to the pool, but then again, I think every room is next to the pool since there are many. The food was horrible, the website lists 7 restaurants but only 3 of them are included in the stay. If you want to try the other restaurants, they are an extra cost, which was not List it anywhere. We tried all three restaurants that were included and they were all big disappointments. The only food available was the buffet for breakfast and lunch which was not spectacular. They also had lots of vendors and staff that would try to upsell you to join their Diamond club, by expensive souvenirs and basically upsell throughout your stay. The only good thing was the pool was awesome, and the water was warm. The water park was pretty fun as well. But if you don't plan on going to the water park every day, I would recommend staying at a much better resort than better food and less harassment purchase timeshares diamond clubs.

Royalton Splash was a great experience. The property was very clean and the staff were amazing. Special shout out to Santiago who was our concierge during our stay. He made sure everything went smooth and catered to our needs. 10/10!
