Hotel Boss

Was very disappointed with this hotel room was soo small and cramped . No wardrobe just few hangers over desk area , no hand towels provided . Breakfast area chaotic as very little space to move around , variety for western tastes very limited. It was very clean and pool area very nice .

This hotel was arranged for us by a travel agency for our first 4 nights in Singapore and we returned for an additional 2 nights before flying home to Canada. We arrived very late at night and encountered exceptional service checking in, with an upgrade to a corner room with a balcony and an amazing view looking toward the Marina Bay area. The hotel is huge and the rooms are quite small by North American standards, but they are thoughtfully laid out and modern with quiet and effective air conditioning, comfortable beds, a refrigerator, a marble bathroom with excellent shower, and (although they don't supply bottled water) a great appliance that filters and provides cold or heated water for coffee (provided) or to fill your own water bottles. The hotel has a lovely rooftop swimming pool and deck, a weight room and two breakfast areas, Jubilicious on the pool deck (not so good) and Salt & Pepper close to reception (excellent). The hotel is perfectly located for getting around Singapore, as it is within walking distance to a variety of restaurants and shopping, and a short walk to the Lavender MRT Station, where you can grab trains to take you anywhere in the city in air-conditioned comfort amazingly cheaply. We really enjoyed our stay, especially because of the wonderfully helpful and friendly service from the Night Reception Manager (whose name we didn't get), and from Alex in Reception who assisted us with booking a taxi for our very early flight to Bali. Thanks again to you both - we would love to return to Singapore and Hotel Boss and we hope we encounter you both again!

Hotel room was good , room service was excellent. Less than 5 mins walk to MRT station. Kimi at the front desk was great, especially as we arrived early from our flight.

Was actually looking forward to staying here. The room was too small, way overpriced without breakfast, very noisy outside the room, guests have absolutely no respect for the others, the lobby is worse than a busy train station. Not exactly sure what I paid for. Paid extra to extend my stay for 3 hours, I asked for one more hour and they declined! I am sure they could have offered the hour only out of courtesy for all the money I spent there on food and drinks. It always looks so busy, j doubt they would care for returning guests. I am not aware how seriously they take these observations. Talking to them on the spot, they were very adamant. If I ever return to Singapore, I will consider another option for accommodation. They had their chance to prove to me their worth. Not impressed at all. Not recommended.
