Ibis Singapore on Bencoolen

Hotel itself is nice. Location's convenient, 7-11 is nearby, breakfast has a great choice of meals, even oat milk was available for coffee, staff is pleasant to talk with. The currency exchange machine in the lobby is convenient but a bit expensive compared to the airport exchange even.

I would like to share how much we enjoyed our recent stay and, in particular, to express our appreciation for Ms Tran, who assisted us during check-in. This was the second time Ms Tran has checked us in, and it was such a pleasure to see her again. She remembered how to make us feel comfortable and genuinely welcomed, just as she did during our first stay. Her warmth, friendliness and excellent service left such a positive impression on us that it was one of the reasons we chose to return to the hotel. It is always nice when a hotel stay feels more personal, and Ms Tran really made that difference for us. We will definitely continue to consider staying at ibis Singapore on Bencoolen because of the wonderful service she has provided. We would also like to thank the team for the lovely welcome card. It was a very thoughtful gesture and made our stay feel even more special. As we did not receive a post-stay review email after check-out, we wanted to write in directly instead. We would really appreciate it if our compliments could be shared with the management team so that Ms Tran knows her effort and service were truly appreciated. We had dinner in Taste restaurant in the hotel. Prabu, Noel and May looked after us. We had Singapore Slings at the bar then went through for dinner. I had sweet sour fish and my wife had beef hor fun… great food and reasonable prices. Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. We will come back🙏

Second time to enjoy time at the IBIS, central to many attractions and an easy taxi ride for us pair of oldies to visit those not within reasonable distance for us. Comfortable room on the 16th floor, although wardrobe facilities could be improved. Impressed with the cleanliness of the room and its maintenance during our stay. Enjoyed breakfasts and dinners at Taste Restaurant, kudos to staff, especially Smith and Jazmin. Excellent reception staff, always happy to be of assistance: in fact kudos to all staff that we interacted with during our stay. Looking forward to our next visit in December.

Comfortable, clean, and well-located, but nothing exceptional. I much prefer Hotel Waterloo nearby, which costs about the same. The checkout time is strictly 12 pm, unlike at other hotels that are a bit more flexible.
