I would like to express my sincere gratitude and appreciation to Mr. Velu for his exceptional kindness and professionalism. During my stay, I unfortunately lost my passport, which was an extremely stressful and frightening experience. From the very beginning, Velu went above and beyond to help me. He made every effort to search for my passport, patiently guided me through the necessary procedures, and supported me with every issue related to my trip. His dedication, compassion, and willingness to help gave me great comfort during one of the most difficult moments of my journey. What impressed me the most was not only his professionalism but also his genuine care and empathy. He treated my problem as if it were his own and never hesitated to offer assistance whenever I needed it. Thanks to Velu, I felt supported and reassured throughout the entire process. He truly represents the highest standard of hospitality and customer service. Thank you, Velu, for your outstanding support. I will always remember your kindness and I highly recommend this hotel because of wonderful staff members like you.

This was our 2nd-time having Peranakan Buffet @ Sun's Cafe located at Hotel Grand Pacific, the food and price are reasonable (try their 1-for-1 promotion). We enjoyed not only the great meal but also the exceptional service from the hotel staff and restaurant team, their hospitality was impeccable from start to finish. While visiting Singapore, we stayed here for 2 nights. We did like that the hotel was within easy walking distance to many attractions and was close to several MRT stops. Breakfast was included each day in the ground floor restaurant (6:30 - 10am). There were a good number of hot and cold food items including an egg station (beginning at 7am) and a soup station. In our room, there was a small step up into our bathroom (room 1009) which could easily be a trip hazard. They had placed an orange tape along the length of the doorway to help highlight the doorway. The shower curtain was also too short by about 3 to 4 inches, allowing water to splash over many areas of the bathroom.

Location was good. One of the older hotels in Singapore, so rooms were larger. Did not like the shower being in the bath, but the shower pressure was good. Easy to get around as it is right in the heart of the city. Many MRT stations around (Bras Basah, City Hall, Bencoolen, Bugis etc) all within walking distance. Staff were very friendly and offered suggestions on what to do and where to go. Great job!
