. Location great, nothing to do for children indoors. Food is the typical all inclusive repetition but edible. We did end up eating out alot as we were sick of the same food. The pool is not accessible at all for pushchairs or wheelchairs. It’s up about 15 concrete steps and no other way to get up. We traveled with a 9 month old baby. We weren’t due to check in until midnight so I emailed a month before asking for a travel cot to be set up for arrival to which they replied yes no problem. I also asked if I could hire a steriliser for bottles and I was told yes for €20. We checked in. No travel cot was set up. When I went back to to reception he said it’s the cleaning staff who do this but he would have a look round the hotel for one. So we were waiting after midnight for staff for find a travel cot. He then brought it with no mattress. But it was that late I put the baby in the bed for that night and asked for the mattress the following morning. I was then told I couldn’t get a steriliser until the following day and then they told me they had none available. They then rang our room the following day and said they had managed to hire one from a different company. So I got one tea time the following evening. Luckily I took Milton tablets so I had these to use. I then asked for a late check out as our flight was 9.30 pm and we had the baby. I was told they would prioritise us for this reason and to ask on morning of departure; I was not surprised when I was told this was not possible ! My partner also asked for a bottle of water one afternoon and was told it’s too early to give them out. Not sure how 2,30pm in 33 degrees is too early for water but nevermind Overall our first family holiday was not off to a good start with the service from the hotel. I would not return for many reasons Entertainment staff amazing. Best part of the holiday. Rooms absolutely tiny. Especially for a travel cot aswell

Pros & cons to the hotel, may be useful for others considering booking. Pros Staff are all lovely and great with children. Food was generally ok. Lots of seating areas outside with some lovely comfy sunbeds. Tidy & clean hotel. Great location, not a far walk to get to the beach and can walk into the old town. Bar area is nice and lots of seating. Nice outdoor seating areas at the restaurant. Cons Standard double is very small, not much storage space and staying with a child left hardly any room. Suitcases we had to store in the bathroom. Have to pay 20 euros for using the safe for a week, we have never been charged at other hotels. Surely this is something that should be included when you’re paying for all inclusive. It’s a bit of a catch because most people are going to want to use the safe whilst away. You can’t get a sunbed around the pool unless there very early, really they need another pool for the number of guests here. Also we booked as the details stated they had a kids pool - we feel this was misleading as it’s more so a baby pool, very small! Not much space for toddlers/older children in it at all. It was probably our biggest disappointment.

My girlfriend and I have stayed here for six nights, and we feel that it is only fair to share our experience. Overall, our stay consisted of both good and pleasant aspects, as well as some very unpleasant ones that actually made us reconsider the hotel’s rating. The main conclusion is that we will not be returning. Positives: The hotel is quite well situated. You can easily walk to the historic centre of Alcudia, as well as to the beach, bars, restaurants and the port. This was a major factor in my decision to book the hotel in the first place. The receptionists are very polite, friendly and proactive. The complimentary welcome drink upon arrival was a nice touch, and the complimentary items in the room were also a pleasant surprise. The housekeeping service was satisfying throughout our stay. We always had clean towels, the bed was made every day, and the room was kept very tidy. Cons: I can tolerate quite a lot, but I am not willing to pay nearly €1,500, including services, taxes and drinks, for a SUPERIOR room with paper-thin walls through which you can hear virtually every word spoken by your neighbours. The neighbours themselves were unfortunately not the best either and liked to watch TV in their room until around 2 AM — although I acknowledge that this particular TV issue is not necessarily the hotel’s fault. The soundproofing, however, is. Because of the extremely poor soundproofing, I had a very hard time falling asleep for four nights in a row. On the third night, I eventually had to go to reception at around 1 AM and ask for assistance with the issue. The following morning, I officially reported the problem to reception and was told that the manager would be informed. However, after an entire day had passed, nobody got back to me with any solution or even an update. As a result, the fourth night was essentially the same. What I find particularly frustrating is that the hotel often responds to negative reviews by saying that guests should have raised their concerns during their stay. Well, I did exactly that. I reported the problem, asked for assistance, and gave the hotel an opportunity to address it — but nothing happened. We encountered another issue the other day. We went to the hotel’s outdoor pool and left our personal belongings on one of the Balibeds in the hotel garden, covered by our towels. We deliberately left our phones hidden underneath our clothes and towels and accepted the responsibility for leaving our belongings unattended while we went to the pool for approximately an hour. When we returned, all of our belongings, including the towels, were gone. I immediately went to the hotel bar, where I was able to retrieve our phones, but instead of simply explaining what had happened, the bar attendant started lecturing me about leaving my belongings there. I understand perfectly well that leaving valuables unattended is ultimately my own responsibility. That, however, is not what I was asking about. What I wanted to know was where our belongings had been taken. Neither the bar nor the reception initially knew. We then spent approximately 20 minutes trying to locate the rest of our belongings and find out which hotel employee had removed them and where they had been taken. During this time, my girlfriend had to wait outside the hotel restaurant in wet swimwear because her clothes had also been removed and nobody knew where they were. Eventually, we found out that a hotel employee named Rodrigo had removed our belongings and taken them somewhere inside the hotel. Even when he arrived approximately 20 minutes later, he was unable to immediately tell us where everything had been placed. I fully understand that leaving personal belongings unattended is our own responsibility. What I do not consider acceptable is hotel staff removing guests’ personal belongings without informing them and then being unable to tell the guests where those belongings have been taken. At the very least, there should be a clear procedure for handling such situations, and the staff should be able to locate the belongings immediately. Once again, no compensation or meaningful gesture was offered. There was also another, smaller disappointment. Several weeks before our arrival, I emailed the reception to let the hotel know that I would be celebrating my birthday during our stay. In their reply, I was assured that the hotel would prepare something special for the occasion. Of course, nothing happened and my birthday was completely overlooked. I want to be clear that I was not expecting a gift or demanding any special treatment. Had nothing been promised in the first place, I would not have thought anything of it. However, once the hotel itself assured me that something would be arranged, it was disappointing to see that the promise was simply forgotten. On its own, this would be a very minor issue, but together with everything else, it became yet another disappointment during our stay. What is particularly disappointing is that the hotel management seems very eager to provide its own perspective in response to negative reviews. In this particular case, however, the staff themselves did not initially seem to know what had happened, why the belongings had been removed, or where they had been taken. More importantly, we did not feel that the situation was treated with the level of concern or urgency we would expect from a four-star hotel. I can understand why some guests question the hotel’s four-star rating. There were certainly aspects of our stay that met four-star expectations, particularly the location, housekeeping and the friendliness of most of the reception staff. Unfortunately, the way several problems were handled during our stay did not meet the standard we would expect at this price point. For us, the conclusion is therefore simple: there were some genuinely positive aspects, but the overall experience was disappointing enough that we will not be returning. Had we known beforehand what we know now, we would have definitely chosen a different hotel in the first place.
