Please avoid this hotel at all costs. The location of the hotel is great, it's a 1 minute walk to the beach front and a 15/20 minute walk to the old town, but this is probably the only good thing about this hotel. I was a solo traveller, so I was placed in a single room. It was fairly small but it did it's job for the week. The air conditioning was extremely noisy even on the lowest setting, so the I couldn't leave this on during the night which then made the room become very stuffy quickly. The shower also kept losing pressure as it seemed the water system couldn't keep up. The cleaning staff would also not 'clean' your room unless you put the hanger on the door, they would just simply come in and make your bed. There are only 2 tiny lifts in this hotel, which is completely un-adaptable for the size of this hotel. At a push, you could fit 5 people in each lift but you have to get up close and personal with other people. The food is horrendous. There's never any variety from pork or fish in the evenings, and the breakfast selection is also debatable - each morning there was a film on the beans as if they were constantly reheated. I have certain dietary issues which I understand isn't the hotels issue, but the majority of nights I wasn't able to eat the food in the hotel.. even though I paid for all inclusive. The drink selection is bog standard, however there are no 24/7 water points.. the only water points are in the restaurant in the morning (which then gets shut off) and at the bar. Once the bar closes, you're not able to get any water unless you go to the Spar next door... again.. even though I've paid for all inclusive. The price for the safe is expensive, I decided not to use this as you would only get €10 'deposit' back at the end of your stay, and if you wanted to use an iron/ironing board, you had to pay. The hotel doesn't supply beach towels.. unless you pay. It seems even though it's and all inclusive hotel, they try to charge you for everything. One of the days, my TV lost signal. I asked at the reception desk if there was an issue and I was told if I wanted the TV I'd have to pay for it which is completely ludicrous. They did switch this back on with no payment so I have a feeling they were trying to have me on. The staff within the hotel were not friendly, it cost anything to be nice and polite to people.. however judging by having to pay for pretty much everything, you'd probably need to pay them to be nice. The cleaning staff however were a lovely bunch of ladies. The entertainment was shocking.. it was mainly for the children.. except there were next to no children in the hotel. They did not switch this up to suit the audience and the people who were actually stopping there. The overall atmosphere within the hotel was dire. For anyone who is looking to stop at this hotel, don't. Unless you want to spend a fortune on everything which should be included within your stay.

Location lovely. hotel Dreadful. this is the most expensive holiday my friend and i have paid for in 8 years. as NHS admin we don't earn a lot so all inclusive works out better for us. as soon as we got into the room we realised how wowfully inadequate it was. 1st there is only 1 plug in the room, under the tv. nothing near either the beds or the mirror, so no charging phones by the beds and we had to get an extention so that our hair straightener could be dragged accross the room to use in front of the mirror! there is no fridge in the room so even if we did plug our kettle in under the tv, there was no where to keep the milk fresh, also the bathroom is a decent size but so badly arranged that if you sit on the toilet you are almost pinned to the sink! i am a 5" 2, 10.5 stone woman and i could just do it, we spoke to a man in the pool, not a big man, and he said to sit on the toilet he has to sit sideways with his feet in the shower! if they turned the sink round there would be plenty of room. although the place was, our room overlooked the pools and seating area, it actully looked like we were looking over a market place. the large adults pool is so small that when there were 8 people in it there wasn't enough room to swim. there were only children there for our 1st couple of days so when they went we ended up just using the baby pool as a plunge pool. the pool area is surrounded by the backs of dingie food shops which should be disguised by plants or a wall, the smell from them is horrible. there are also not enough parasols and no tables by the sun loungers. the food is adequate, not much choice, no fresh station for omlettes or evening meals, one night the only thing we fancied for desert was jelly! when i asked for spoons i was told "we don't have enough, you'll have to wait until they are washed then they will be right out"! Have you ever tried eating jelly with a fork? there were very few staff, nice staff but not enough so tables weren't cleared as you fininshed courses and a couple of times we had to clear tables to sit down. the evening entertainment wasn't great and on our 6th night, even though there wasn't a single child there, they put the lego star wars movie on for us to watch! the actual area is lovely, beach and sea lovely and 10 minutes walk from the port which is very lively at night so i would definitely recommend the area but stay away from globales

Worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Drinks taste like paint stripper. Fly all over the food. The food is mainly grilled fish or stale bread. The rooms are dated and small with only 1 plug socket. Awful value for money as we ended up eating and drinking outside of the facility due to getting food poisoning. Air con broke on day one and even after been told it was fixed it barely worked. Not many Sunbeds at all and pool is like the size of a bathtub tiny! The only positive is the location being a short walk from the beach. I would never ever return worst holiday of my life

Just returned from a 4 night solo stay. Hotel was as expected, was fairly good value for money. Allocated room 719 which had been renovated, pleased to get a double bed instead of single! Small room, but adequate for a short stay. Balcony overlooked the back of hotel, old town and other hotels, in shade all day which was perfect. Air con was good, no fridge or kettle (as advertised) no problem, took my own kettle. Didn't have a problem getting the lift. Food was ok, always something available, breakfast and lunch better choices than evening meal. Bar was good, never more than a couple of people queuing, plenty of chairs and tables outside. Snack bar served usual pizza, burger, chips, salad, cakes and ice cream. Pool was adequate, only used once as I prefer the beach. Location was perfect and the main reason I booked, short walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. Overall a budget hotel, but had everything I needed and would definitely return.

Great location very near lovely beach. Entertaininment quite good. I feel the charge for room safe was extortionate. Only 1 room key given which was just a hassle. No fridge in room which would have been a good addition. No kettle. Good powerful shower. But there was mould around shower. We didn't manage to get room clean over 4 days but not fault of staff. They just seemed to be around other rooms so we went for towel change which was fine. Despite leaving room for long periods they never came. By time we returned we were ready for a nap so put the do not disturb sign up. I would say the corridors seem dated with old fashioned doors. Unfortunately the food was disappointing. Not great and never hot enough. They also leave a sign in rooms with list of charges for extending stay if you have a late flight. I wouldn't be surprised if they don't offer just storage for cases but we didn't need it.
