Relaxing stay with a lovely view across the bay We just returned from a one week stay in a Prestige Junior Suite with a large, glass fronted balcony. Whilst the room was large, it was very dated. The bed was large and comfortable, in a separate room, but problems were in the bathroom area. A large jacuzzi took up a lot of space and was stained yellow which deterred you from wanting to use it. The toilet was squeezed in the shower room at an angle, so there was no space if you had long legs. Also the there was no fan, so it resulted in a very claustrophobic experience. There was the normal towels on loungers around the pool before 9 but we found sufficient places to sit in the gardens where the view down to the sea was stunning. Make sure you go down the steps at the entrance to the Prestige area, the bay there whilst challenging to approach, is definitely worth the hike down, crystal blue waters and much quieter than the sea by the main pool. The drinks and snacks were a lovely unexpected surprise and made a nice start to the evening. Breakfast was great, with so much on offer and with that view again In summary, the hotel communal areas are modern and airy, however the rooms need some updating. We had a good time and found the staff very accommodating.

Just back from a week this lovely hotel. We stayed in one of the sea view junior penthouse suites. Room The room was nice if a little dated/jaded. The could do with a little refresh. The shower wasn't brilliant and the seal on the door was broken. The aircon didn't get very cold but the room also had a ceiling fan which helped a lot. However, the bed was lovely and big and comfortable which was a plus. The room also had an espresso machine and a kettle. For those fellow curly girls the hairdryer came with a diffuser! I have never ever seen a diffuser with a hotel hair dryer before so that was fabulous. There were also hair straighteners which I didn't use so I can't comment on how good they were. There was also a clothes steamer in the wardrobe. The room had two outer areas -a lower balcony with a table and chairs and an upper terrace with bed, jacuzzi, a table, two chairs and two sun loungers. It really is a lovely area and the views are stunning. Rooms were very clean and housekeeping came twice a day (turn down service in the evening). Hotel The hotel itself is lovely. Pools are gorgeous and immaculate. Loungers are comfortable and there is plenty of shade if needed. The food is also very good and a nice variety each evening. Loads to choose from. If you are vegan there is at least three hot options each evening along with other vegetable options and a variety of salads. Gluten free is also catered for. The gym is well equipped and the machines seem quite new. It is a little warm and airless though so better air con in there would be nice. The staff are truly what make the hotel. Each and every person we interacted with were so welcoming and helpful.

The hotel was fantastic. Staff very polite and professional .rooms immaculate and very comfortable. The food was 5 star with lots of choice what ever your dietary needs .most definitely going back again why its not 5 star is beyond me .

We recently returned from a 10-night stay at this hotel and we had a lovely time here. Definitely would not hesitate to return. On arrival into the reception area you are immediately greeted by large windows which overlook Santa Ponsa bay. We were given a complimentary glass of mimosa each and checked-in promptly by a friendly receptionist. We were on the top floor which is on the same level as the reception in a standard room. The room was spacious and the view from the balcony was amazing. The room was cleaned daily and towels were refreshed each day. Our only small niggles were that the toilet was positioned very close to the shower, the wardrobe did not have a section tall enough for hanging long dresses and storage space was minimal. Additionally, the bathtub in the room looked old and grubby. We stayed half-board and could not fault the food. We felt that the options available at breakfast were fantastic. Each evening there was a different theme. The only shame is that the evening themes repeat each week rather than changing on a two-week rotation. We really appreciated the flexibility of being able to swap our evening meal for lunch on days when we had plans to eat out in the evening. Another lovely touch was that even as half-board guests, we were given a different cocktail for free most days, sometimes during the day and sometimes in the evening. The pool was clean and a decent size, and having direct access to the sea for swimming was a lovely bonus. Sunbeds did tend to fill up by around 10am. We could never tire of the stunning views from the pool area. There is a supermarket just a five-minute walk from the hotel, as well as a selection of bars and restaurants nearby. There is also a coastal path nearby that takes you into the main part of Santa Ponsa, which is around a 15–20 minute walk away. Santa Ponsa itself was not quite to our taste, we found it had a very touristy feel. In places it reminded us a little of Benidorm. However, we did find some lovely restaurants to eat at. We liked that the hotel had water filters to refill bottles and we found the Iberostar app useful. Whenever we wanted to swap our evening meal for lunch, I just messaged reception through the app that morning and they immediately sorted it for us. The app was also really useful for keeping track of our bill, as we could check our food and drink charges after ordering. Finally, all of the staff were incredibly hardworking and friendly. They definitely contributed to our enjoyable stay.
