Bad: no atmosphere around pool watered down drinks (hotel and whole of can picafort) miserable staff except the staff member who does the eggs key card deactivated before checkout time we weren’t told that free water was available until later into the holiday Good: clean room comfy bed Was able to request a duvet very close proximity to beach food was nice mainly very quiet through the night lots of restaurants and shops right outside hotel Good house keeping 2x beach sun loungers and parasol €21 all day Recommend if you like quiet days and evenings, not much night life, no activities on beach so bought our own catch ball set All drinks along the beach are watered down except beer Had a lovely meal at Jamaica bar and nusa dua beach bar Great michael jackson entertainment at Bar Chocolate

Just back from a week at Nordeste Playa.No complaints at all.Find some reviews have no resemblance to our experience.Yes the rooms are basic however they are comfortable and cleaned every day with fresh towels....the shower has a life of its own though !! The food was really good,in particular the items made freshly by the guys at the grill.Plenty of choice for all tastes. Fresh paellas every day,all you need at breakfast,always fresh fruit and great cakes !!Again yes the pool is small but not tiny ,it is possible to swim in it .There is little or no control over the fact that some people like to sit around the stairs of the pool making it difficult to get in or outThe staff are all very nice,Fadwwa always greeted us with a smile and chatted,the young lad in the main bar( sorry didnt catch his name) remembered our drinks order and seemed to be everywhere. As others have said the hotel is very close to the beach......which is narrow and incredibly busy,not fun.Plenty of shops and bars around,really it is in the centre of everything.Overall we would go back to the hotel....if it was in another resort......the beach is just not enjoyable.Go up to Alcudia 20 minutes on the bus,the 324.Great beach and lovely places to eat along the front.All in all nothing bad to say ....except the hotel is managed by an extremely obnoxious gentleman ( assuming he's the manager as he is in an office beside reception.Thinks nothing of shouting loudly at staff in front of guests and being rude when a guest dares watch him do it. If you like the resort i would totally say use this hotel.

What an amazing surprise! We stayed here for 12 days, and it was honestly much better than we expected. First of all, the staff deserves 5 stars across the board. They really make a difference and are a big part of what made our stay so enjoyable. The restaurant staff, and especially Manuel, were always friendly and had a smile on their faces, even when some guests around them showed very little empathy or kindness. Their attitude and professionalism really stood out. The location is great, and the food was more than enough, with something different every day. There was always paella and fideuà available, and drinks were easy to get whenever we wanted them. The pool is small, but honestly, it was more than enough for us. The beach is basically like having another pool, and it was often even hotter than the hotel pool! The spa was clean, although unfortunately not everything was working during our stay. Regarding the towels, you pay a €10 deposit and get €8 back, with a €2 charge if you want to change them. We used ours for the full 12 days without any problem, so for us, this wasn't an issue at all. One final thing: try to support the local shops around the hotel if you can. There are plenty of local businesses nearby, and spending your money there can make a real difference to them. We tried to avoid the Chinese souvenir shops and support the local ones instead. Overall, we had a really great 12-day stay and would definitely come back. The staff, in particular, made a huge difference and helped make the experience even better than we expected.

I stayed at Hotel Nordeste Playa for 4 nights. The hotel is in a very good location, literally 1 minute from the sea and all the bars and restaurants. Check in was very smooth and I was greeted on arrival by a really nice lady who was very helpful and informative about my stay. My room was on the 8th floor and had a lovely view of the sea which was an unexpected bonus!!! The room was rather basic but it was very clean and was more than enough for me and my son to sleep in for the duration of our holiday. Bathroom was very clean and fresh towels were provided daily. The hotel is all inclusive and offered a brilliant variety of alcoholic drinks, soft drinks and numerous food options. The food selection was very impressive and there was lots to choose from during each sitting. The pork dishes were a hit and all the pizzas were extremely tasty!!!! Be careful on the cocktails they make... alot of vodka is used!!!! There was also a bar next to the pool and a self serve beer pump in the main restaurant. The hotel itself is very clean. All the members of staff were extremely friendly and always smiled which is very comforting when staying in a hotel. A few issues in previous reviews mentioned a problem with the air conditioning but my room was absolutely fine. The swimming pool is probably one of the only things that let's this hotel down. It's extremely cold and very small for a hotel of this size. Fortunately the sea is only 1 minute away and the water is warm and clear and is extremely satisfying being in the heat of Can Picafort. Overall the hotel is a wonderful little gem in the heart of Can Picafort. I would definitely consider staying here again if I was to visit again. A special mention to Pedro on the front desk. An extremely helpful and very polite man who always made us feel welcome and valued by his fantastic customer service and genuine interest in helping you whatever the situation!!!

I stayed here with my son for a few nights and days. When we first got there it wasn’t a great start, it was late at night and there was one person on the desk checking people in. After a long flight, it was frustrating to have to stand at reception for around 20minutes with all of our luggage. Once we had finally got to our room, it was spacious and clean. The only downside was that the aircon was barely cool and it was very hot. The balcony was a nice little area, but no privacy at all, with other guests rooms facing right towards you. The beds/pillows were very comfy. Staff are lovely and helpful whenever I had any questions too. We tried the outdoor pool but it was too cold. One of the days it was raining so we decided to use the indoor pool, which was very disappointing. On the website, it states it is heated. It is not. And the whole room had an unbearable damp smell, we had to leave. Good at the buffet breakfast/lunch/dinner was perfect, all very fresh and hot, and a great selection! Lots of choice for drinks too. The dining staff were brilliant, always taking used plates/cutlery away and keeping the place tidy. I would recommend staying here, it’s a great location with the beach being so close and lots of shops. Corridors can get a little noisy, day and night you hear people walking and talking as they come past your room. Overall, a great budget friendly place to stay.
