O7 Nordeste Playa

stayed for a week with my husband and two adult children for 1 week. Chose this hotel for cost and location. Pros:- Location (300 yrds to sandy Beach) Clean Hotel Rooms were decent Always sunbeds available. Branded soft drinks available. Reception staff helpful when we had a question. Cons:- Air con broken in room and also Hotels air con went down for 2 days. (During extream temps so was unbearable at night) Sinks in room slow to empty Pool was too small for the size of the hotel you can not swim in it. Just dunk and out as no room. Food was repetative but adequate. Would have been better with theme food nights maybe. Pool bar staff always grumpy, looked unhappy always. Ended up just getting our own from inside bar (self serve) No courtesy room in hotel on last day and also unable to book a late check out. Not great for evening departures. No poolside music We did enjoy our stay but wouldnt come back to this hotel for the reasons above.

Hotel is really clean and well presented. The rooms in some places are a little dated and basic but clean and functional. The hotel wasn't crowded and there were always sunbeds round the pool. I think this is due to to the beach being so close so guests are divided between the hotel and the beach which suits a relaxed not rushed feel to the place. Location couldn't be better, literally 2 minutes from the beach one way and lots of shops the other. The area feels safe and friendly. Food. The all inclusive has lots of options to cater for all tastes. We ate breakfast and lunch at the hotel and in the main went out for dinner just for a change of scene, dinners at the hotel are fine but we just opted to mix it up a bit. There are lots of resturants down on the sea front which are extremely good. (Jamacia Bar a must go for the skewers). Value. Great value for money as this hotel all inclusive was slightly more expensive than the B and B's round the corner.

When you choose a 3-star hotel, you don’t usually have high expectations... And yet, Hotel Nordestre Playa managed to be a very pleasant surprise. **Pros:** Superb location – close to the beach and a great base for exploring the area; friendly staff, good housekeeping service, fairly large rooms, and renovated bathrooms. There’s a huge selection of dishes in the all-inclusive option for breakfast, lunch, and dinner – everyone will find something they like. You can enjoy live-cooked pancakes, eggs, and meat, as well as Spanish paella, a variety of fruits, desserts, ice cream, bread, pizza, unlimited drinks, fresh vegetables, and seafood. **Cons:** If I had to find any downsides, the beach bar only offers nachos and drinks, and none of the bars look particularly aesthetic or clean (especially behind the scenes). The staff is multilingual. For us, the hotel was a big plus – a family with teenagers on board.

Hotel room was a bit dated. Beds comfortable. The shower was broken and wouldn't stay on the pole. Had to use the rain shower which was turned towards the wall, when moved to be centre in the shower it flooded the bathroom. The food was repetitive with same options for lunch and dinner every day. Same desserts every night. Snacks were very limited at pool bar. I.e pastries or tortilla chips with tomato sauce or mayonnaise. Bar closed at 11pm every evening. Activities were non existent for a very busy hotel. Entertainment was every second night. Was a pleasant enough experience but more could be done to make it an exceptional hotel!!

The whole team were amazing... From the ground up .. Very friendly and made our 3 night stay very memorable. The manager sorted changing our room the day after we arrived when the sink was blocked. We ended up in a marvellous room with a sea view, which was a delight. The English maintenance man even helped fix my dress when a strap broke.. brilliant idea with a key ring ... The bar staff were friendly and the catering team were amazing, great food. It was so good in fact that I'm taking my mum back again this year in June 2026. Looking forward to seeing you all again. Location wise is perfect for the beach too
