O7 Nordeste Playa

We stayed for 4 nights at the end of September. We were very impresssed with the hotel, the staff and the facilities especially given that it is rated only 3-star. The hotel was spotlessly clean, very relaxed and quiet and they even provided reasonable entertainment (a vocalist) every other night. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The selection of food provided on our all inclusive package was very good for breaklfast, lunch & dinner. Something for everyone and differnt every day. Our only criticism is that the food could all have been hotter. By the time you got it to your table, it was lukewarm at best. Some improvement could be made there definitely. The pool was clean and very quiet while we were there. I think a lot of people go to the brach as it's nly a short walk away. Always a lifeguard on duty at the pool. Very limiited snacks available during the day, between meals but to be honest, the meals were so substantial, you didn't really need anything else. All in all this hotel was excellent for what it was and the price paid and we would definitely go back. I do wish they could get the food a bit warmer though .

Location is excellent for a relaxed beachside holiday. Plenty of bars and restaurants to enjoy, very close to the beach and a very clean area. Hotel atmosphere is quiet, could always get a sun longer or table in the restaurant and bar. Our room was good, cleaned daily with fresh towels, lovely sunny balcony with a sea view. We were on the 7th floor with only one very small 2 person lift so there can be a queue at busy times. Take the other lift to 5th floor and walk the rest. Food and drink, drinks were good from the bar and not watered down. The down side overall was the food and restaurant. Firstly finding glasses or cups available for drinks was difficult and mainly the food was never hot. We gave up using the restaurant and ate elsewhere due to the food never being hot. Overall its a budget hotel and exactly what I expected. We enjoyed our stay.

We booked direct with the hotel for both accommodation & return transport, Yet on departure day we were advised at reception that no transport had been arranged , The hotel were unhelpful and advised "us" to phone direct. No transport arrived and we had to arrange another taxi ourselves which was more expensive. Almost 3 months on the hotel wont refund the actual cost of the taxi. we had paid & booked in the January, still have no answers to my questions after multiple emails and no refund

Bad: no atmosphere around pool watered down drinks (hotel and whole of can picafort) miserable staff except the staff member who does the eggs key card deactivated before checkout time we weren’t told that free water was available until later into the holiday Good: clean room comfy bed Was able to request a duvet very close proximity to beach food was nice mainly very quiet through the night lots of restaurants and shops right outside hotel Good house keeping 2x beach sun loungers and parasol €21 all day Recommend if you like quiet days and evenings, not much night life, no activities on beach so bought our own catch ball set All drinks along the beach are watered down except beer Had a lovely meal at Jamaica bar and nusa dua beach bar Great michael jackson entertainment at Bar Chocolate

Just back from a week at Nordeste Playa.No complaints at all.Find some reviews have no resemblance to our experience.Yes the rooms are basic however they are comfortable and cleaned every day with fresh towels....the shower has a life of its own though !! The food was really good,in particular the items made freshly by the guys at the grill.Plenty of choice for all tastes. Fresh paellas every day,all you need at breakfast,always fresh fruit and great cakes !!Again yes the pool is small but not tiny ,it is possible to swim in it .There is little or no control over the fact that some people like to sit around the stairs of the pool making it difficult to get in or outThe staff are all very nice,Fadwwa always greeted us with a smile and chatted,the young lad in the main bar( sorry didnt catch his name) remembered our drinks order and seemed to be everywhere. As others have said the hotel is very close to the beach......which is narrow and incredibly busy,not fun.Plenty of shops and bars around,really it is in the centre of everything.Overall we would go back to the hotel....if it was in another resort......the beach is just not enjoyable.Go up to Alcudia 20 minutes on the bus,the 324.Great beach and lovely places to eat along the front.All in all nothing bad to say ....except the hotel is managed by an extremely obnoxious gentleman ( assuming he's the manager as he is in an office beside reception.Thinks nothing of shouting loudly at staff in front of guests and being rude when a guest dares watch him do it. If you like the resort i would totally say use this hotel.
