Protur Floriana Resort

Stayed for short break 20th sept for 4 nights in room 1114 overlooking pool and main restaurant. The room was spotlessly clean and very spacious. We paid to have evening meal in the restaurant which I can fully recommend. My husband being coeliac found plenty of choice to eat, each evening a member of staff took him round and pointed out what he could and couldn’t have. He also got a hot baguette or bread to have with his meal. I really cannot fault the floriana the staff from the point of check-in to leaving, they were all friendly and super efficient. I look forward to returning in the future. I would like to add we even managed to bag a late checkout room which we were really grateful for.

Just back having had 7 nights at the Floriana Resort and must say how enjoyable our stay was. Check in was seemless and we were assigned a one bedroom apartment in block F. The apartment was spotless and although we were all inclusive it had a kitchen area with an oven, microwave and fridge etc. Maid service for the apartment was provided 5 days per week which was a great plus. The buffet meals were very good with a great selection of dishes available across all 3 meal settings. The evening meals were especially good with each evening having a different theme like chinese, indian, italian etc and the food was always hot and fresh. We have stayed at other AI hotels and usually make a point of dining out 2 or 3 times during our stay but we enjoyed the variety of the food at the Floriana so much we ate in every night! Also a big shout out to the restaurant staff who were very cheerful and attentive. Drinks wise there were no issues with beer and wine on tap to help yourself and brand spirits were available which is not always the case. Evening entertainment was a little bit hit and miss but this didn't spoil our evenings. The location of the Floriana is very good, the complex being about a 10 minute level walk from the beach and harbour where there were plenty of bars, restaurants and gift shops. The complex itself is spotless and the gardens are kept immaculate. All in all, we had a lovely time at the Floriana, made possible by the staff who all work with a smile on their face (thank you!), and I would not hesitate returning for another holiday at this resort.

Just left here after a short holiday with my partner and 1 year old daughter. Best holiday we have been on in a long time! Hotel was lovely and clean and staff couldn’t be more helpful. Will definitely be returning !

Our family of four have just returned from a week stay in this hotel. We were shocked at the scale of the hotel, it was much bigger than we expected, I think for the size of the hotel they could definitely do with a bigger restaurant area, we found the food area was very busy and chaotic, other guests there mentioned this to us. The food was really nice, although breakfast not as nice as the other two meals. The kids pool was perfect for our two young children. All areas of the hotel are clean and staff are friendly enough. We thought entertainment was a little poor compared to some resorts we have previously stayed at, the kids mini disco started quite late too. Day time entertainment wasn't great but that's not something that we are really bothered by. The hotel is in a great location as it's a short walk away from the town and beach. The hotel is decorated really modern and is really clean. Our room was clean and really spacious, perfect amount of room for a family of four. I would say to definitely remember insect bite cream too. This is definitely a three star resort, a nice stay but don't think we would return.

Nice big rooms, great location only a 7 minute walk to the harbour with lots of lovely bars and eateries. Always sunbeds available with all pool areas kept very clean. Just wish there had been a snack bar that sold toasted sandwiches etc for the self catering guests. All in all a lovely place and I'd definitely go again.
