Viva Golf Adults Only

It is not often that you find a hotel that has so much to offer and ticks all the right boxes. The Viva Golf does just this. It is an adults only (over 18) which offers peace and calm. The hotel is superbly located, 5 steps across the promenade to a superb beach with calm clear waters. The grounds of the hotel are immaculate, as is the rest of the property. The sun-beds with comfortable mattresses are cleaned every day, parasols providing plenty of shade. There is a familiar issue with some guests who choose to ‘reserve’ beds with their towels, however on the whole there were enough beds to go around that this did not create a problem. There is a small section at the rear of the gardens, separated by hedges that caters for guests who wish to smoke and vape. My only comment that if there is a breeze, this can be rather unpleasant….. There are two pools, the main one has partially sunken recliners, which proved popular and a nice touch, the main pool is large enough to swim. It is noted how clean everything is kept. The hotel also provides a gym, this is located across the road. It boasts new equipment in air conditioning. We had a slight issue with the temp on our stay. It was running at 23’ which was too warm. We mentioned this to the staff who advised us to report it if it occurred again. Unfortunately it takes a while for the cooler air to kick in. The staff work very hard to keep this high degree of efficiency and cleanliness, and it shows. Dining is very good. Breakfast and dinner is buffet style with plenty of variety. Dishes are replenished regularly with staff providing excellent service. Entertainment was on offer most nights, all acts were superb. Rooms are air conditioned, spacious with nice decorative touches, complete with balconies, table and chairs. Some rooms are better positioned to gain a sea view, but on the whole perfectly situated. I understand there are ‘superior rooms’ which I cannot comment on. Our request was a twin room. Whilst the hotel could not confirm our request on booking, they were able to grant this, which was a huge relief! Only one or two small issues, I really felt complementary water should be provided at dinner, rather than being charged for it. The pool was pretty chilly, I wish they had the means to take the edge off the temperature . For those who smoked, if the breeze was in a certain direction, the smoke would drift over. Other than that, 10/10 Thank you Viva Golf for a great stay

We have stayed here before and have returned, this time we have an even better room with great views over the beach, highly recommended hotel.

We had a great relaxing stay. The hotel position is ideal. Private but close to the beach and path to the restaurants and shops. The hotel is spotlessly clean. The staff are friendly and professional. The pool area is amazing. Will be back
