Riu Sri Lanka

Second time in RIU and it was a good stay. Specially the RIU Land kids facility is quite useful for parents. Neshtha there was quite helpful in taking care of our little one.

We had a wonderful weekend stay at RIU Ahungalla. A special thanks to Mr. Marshal and the entire Food & Beverage team, including the chefs, for their warm hospitality and attentive service. They genuinely went out of their way to look after us and make us feel welcome. Our thanks also to the entertainment team for helping make our stay so enjoyable and memorable. It’s the care and effort of the people that make a stay special, and we truly appreciated everyone’s hospitality. Thank you to the whole team!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Fabulous hotel. Accommodation spacious and comfortable. Exceptionally clean. Entertainment staff were very talented and professional. All staff were pleasant and respectful. Keen to help with any help needed both in the hotel and when travelling outside the hotel. Special thanks to Sadeepa Piyumal and his housekeeping team.

Overall we had a great stay. The staff are absolutely amazing, from housekeeping, to reception to F&B. Super friendly and extremely helpful. The quality and variety of the food, great! Especially on weekends, when the hotel was very full, the team did an amazing job. Only not giving 5 because there was no flexibility shown by the restaurant's team to allow one of our family members to bring in food from the main restaurant due to allergic reasons. It was not a picky choice of ours, the fifth family member could not eat at the Asian restaurant due to allergies to coriander and a few other items. We informed the waiter but the supervisor made her eat by herself in the main restaurant instead.
