Had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The rooms are comfortable and well maintained, the food is absolutely perfect, and the pool is amazing. Everything was clean, relaxing, and enjoyable. Special thanks to the Front Office Manager, Pradeep Hewage, and Yasara from GRE for their excellent service and warm hospitality. They made our stay even more pleasant. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone. Definitely a place worth visiting! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I highly recommend this hotel; the entire property is clean, and the staff are pleasant. The gentleman who cleaned the rooms (unfortunately, I don't remember his name 🥹) was wonderful! He ensured our room was kept clean every day. The service in the dining area and at the bar was also top-notch! Ms. Rashoda, Mr. Marasinghe, and Mr. Jayantha took great care of us throughout our stay. We sincerely thank them and highly recommend this place.💙

This is an absolute hidden gem waikkal. I had the opportunity to be in the planning and coordination team of a lovely couple who had their wedding at Suriya Resort on 19th August 2026 (couple name is Ramindi & Madawa). The property it self is located in a natural habitat. A combination of the Beutifull blue Indian ocean and the Ging Oya. The rooms are pretty decent and spacious when you compare it to any other properties around. Cleanliness of the rooms and public areas are top notch. In room amenities are standard. When you are in the property you are completely isolated from the outer world as the noise level is low with calm vibe. Most important part is the homely atmosphere and the never ending hospitality that the staff has to offer. Though this property is quite unique and famous for photography locations for wedding couples which is never a distraction nor disturbance for their in-house guests. I believe that’s because how the staff handles their guests from every corner of this paradise. This is a place that value what you pay for according to my overall experience. I should mentioned Nilufer Silva (manager Banquet) who has been a blessing for me and the rest of the coordination team not only during the event but during the pre set up and most importantly she has been there whenever we need to get anything and everything done from any department. As a planner and a coordinator I must say that employees like Nilufer is rare anywhere in hospitality. Seeing this person takes care of sales part in her office to come to the operation and guide the F&B staff to front office and hearing her coordinate with other departments to make sure the operation goes smooth was a relief. I Believe Nilufer has been an inspiration to the rest of the team at Suriya Resort and we have seen her effort’s results from the rest of the team. Overall this was a great experience and I must recommend this property anyone who is Planning to escape for a vacation in the most nature friendly area with best hospitality. One of the most important thing is privacy of their guests are being protect by everyone who works there.
