The Eden Beruwala

It was a truly wonderful experience from the very first call to book our reservation for the 1st Nov. Warm welcome note by the GM Rohan Gamage cascades the warmth to Asst. Mgr. Yohan, Event & Promotions Manager Ms. Ashani Silva, GRE Methuli, F&B Mgr Duminda and the Culinary brigade. Robustness buffet had ample array of salads, none veg soup, lamb, crab claws, seafood, shellfish and any meat you can think of at a 5 star property. Sweet tooth selection complimented awesomely. Ashani, a xenial personality tailed us from arrival to departure touching base ensuring comfort and relaxation is at the pinnacle leaving no room for a minute complaint. A birthday cake was a surprise at the finale arranged by Ashani that made our day standing us on a pedestal. Honestly she's an outstanding personality and a asset to the conglomerate. Undoubtedly the best beach resort upto Bentota offers value for money. Wishing Eden management very best in your future endeavours.

Perfect location .nice atmosphere ,room view is very nice

The front office team is doing a great job .It was a hassle free service.Special thanks goes to Ashan the Front office manager and his fellow staff Methuli.Definitely will be back again to this amazing hotel .we had a wonderful family time and memorable stay.

I really wanted to like this place more and the staff were great, the gardens are beautiful and the food OK but things could be a LOT better........ There was continuous, piped, piano music played throughout the day outside of your room for no reason, the restaurant (2 out of 3 were closed) was often so busy that you couldn't get a table and you'd give up waiting for them to be cleared and go back to your room and go without, the reception service was lackadaisical, there were sometimes no staff at the bar for 10+ minutes, there was water on the floor of my bathroom at all times because of a leaking shower screen and the room smelt of damp/sewage. On top of that, there were mosquitoes galore in the bedroom that buzzed around your head and kept you awake all night and bit you to pieces. Furthermore, who thought that it was a good idea to provide a set of scales in the bathroom when you're on holiday? A small point but come on, give us a break and get rid of them !!! The hotel's also a little bit tired and dirty/rusty, although the beachfront setting and salt air obviously didn't help with that so I'm not going to knock the hotel here. P.S. Watch out for the Palm Squirrels. If you leave your balcony door open they'll be straight in and they're a devil to get rid of.

We had a wonderful day in Eden. We got a warm welcome from the team and had a good welcome drink. Food was good. We really enjoyed that and we come back again.
