JW Marriott Khao Lak Resort & Spa

What an amazing location and hotel, we went towards end of season and hotel was not too busy, that being said perfect location , beach is beautiful, clean and quiet windy but absolutely perfect. The pool or pools and links to the pools is enormous , the restaurant both food and service was outstanding , polite and respectful staff everywhere.

It is heartbreaking to say goodbye to our beloved JW Marriott Khao Lak. Each one of members who have been taken care of is since we got to the hotel. Special thanks to; Kin receptionist who helped us at the arrival and indeed Khun Joe FOM both of you were so accommodating and welcoming (Never regret to visit this hotel every time in Khao Lak) F&B team from the breakfast through the dinner, you guys have done an amazing job and we regret that we couldn’t remember every name yet do not feel hurt. I appreciate all of you 😀. Thus, you guys will be in our memories ❤️. Yo-yo, Mango, Yaya, Apple, Nott, Sorn, Tat seeing you guys made us feel truly home again. HK - Nah and Guitar, thank you for taking care of our room. We loved seeing your creativity, we enjoyed our turndown service with an animal 🦀🐒🐇🐸 Quan Spa - Oh, P, Ying and Benz. How can we do without deep tissue and aroma massage once we get home 😭😭 Management Team - Thank you for taking so much care of your team (Love seeing a smile from your team 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏) Lastly, our 7 days 6 nights comes to an end but you all will be missed ❤️❤️❤️ (Do not forget to take care of yourself too). We stayed at JW Marriott Khao Lak for four nights as a family of five (two adults and three children), and it was honestly one of the best hotel experiences we have ever had. From the moment we arrived very late at night, everything felt special. We were celebrating both my wife’s and my birthdays during our stay, and a birthday cake was waiting for my wife in our room when we arrived. Later in the stay, they surprised me with another cake for my birthday. We had also changed our arrival dates, yet the hotel still honored our upgrade to a beautiful suite and had everything ready for us. The service deserves a special mention. **Opal at reception was absolutely wonderful**, and the entire front desk team was incredibly friendly, patient, and helpful. Whatever we asked for, they genuinely tried to help and followed through until everything was taken care of. After our late arrival, they handled all our belongings and made sure our family was comfortable and settled in. At very short notice, the hotel also arranged a **private family trip to Khao Sok** for us, including a fantastic local meal. Everything was organized quickly and professionally, and it became one of the highlights of our trip. The resort itself is stunning. Huge pools, beautiful grounds, a wonderful beach and an excellent kids’ club. The facilities were clean and very well maintained, and the kids loved the activities so much that they didn’t want them to end. We also really enjoyed visiting the Garden, walking through the spacious, beautifully maintained grounds and feeding the animals with our children. It was a unique and memorable family experience. The beach was beautiful, even though the sea was rough during our visit. Again, it was the small details that impressed us: towels, showers, complimentary drinking water, sunscreen and aloe vera were all readily available. There was even a local ice cream vendor nearby selling delicious and very inexpensive ice cream — definitely a hit with the kids! Food was excellent. Breakfast was rich and varied, and we particularly enjoyed the selection at **Olive**. We also had dinner at Olive and loved it — a great variety of Italian dishes, excellent flavors and exceptional service. But what really makes this resort stand out is the overall atmosphere. The architecture, landscaping, Thai music, beautiful staff uniforms, attention to detail and incredible hospitality all work together to create something very special. We kept saying throughout our stay that **it feels as though you are being personally hosted by the King of Thailand.** That is the best way I can describe the combination of warmth, luxury and Thai hospitality we experienced here. Our only regret? **We stayed for only four nights.** We genuinely wished we could stay longer, but unfortunately it was time to fly home. A huge thank you to Opal and the entire JW Marriott Khao Lak team for making our family feel so welcome. We would return without hesitation.

Our belated birthday celebration at JW Marriott Khao Lak Resort & Spa was an exceptional 5-star experience from start to finish. The resort went above and beyond to make us feel truly special. Upon entering our room, we were greeted with beautiful birthday decorations on the bed and a bottle of sparkling wine, setting a festive and memorable tone for the stay. While we encountered a few minor problems during our stay, the attentive team took proactive steps to resolve them, following up with a courtesy call to ensure everything was fixed to our satisfaction. Special Kudos to the Team: Ms. Madhu (Front Desk): Delightfully charming with a wonderfully positive mindset that made check-in a joy. Khun Taki (Assistant Front Office Manager): Truly exceptional. We cannot thank her enough for genuinely listening to our feedback and showing deep, sincere care for her guests. Khun Praew & Khun Lookpa (Doormen): Absolutely lovely and welcoming every time we arrived. The warm hospitality, thoughtful details, and outstanding service recovery made this trip unforgettable. We highly recommend JW Marriott Khao Lak to fellow travelers and Marriott Bonvoy members!
