Khao Lak Emerald Beach Resort & Spa

I've been here twice in the past 6 months. The first stay was only for 2 nights with my son, but it was so enjoyable we drove again from Phuket some months later with the rest of the family. The location is ideal. Everything you need is in that community surrounding the hotel, and if you want to head into town, you head along a beautiful road through the jungle that leads out onto scenic sea views. The hotel also has a beach right outside...the rooms are clean, the atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing, and I love the facilities for kids. A soft play, a sandpit with excavators, a kids pool with waterslides. The breakfast each morning is also fantastic - i ate so well each morning. My whole family loved this hotel and my son still keeps asking to go back. I recommend this hotel to families and couples. It has something for everyone.

Had a really nice stay at Emerald Khao Lak. The staff were friendly and helpful, the pool was great, and the beach was beautiful. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely come back!

Khaolak Emerald Beach Resort & Spa is a beautiful beachfront resort in a peaceful area of Khao Lak, surrounded by nature and the Andaman Sea. I stayed in the 45-square-meter Deluxe Pool Access room, which was one of the highlights of my stay. Being able to step directly from the room into the pool made it perfect for a relaxing getaway. The resort offers several swimming pools, including a beachfront pool, Taonga Pool, and the HIVE Pool for Pool Access rooms. There are also plenty of facilities such as a Kids Club, Fitness Center, Game Room, kayaking, paddle boarding, and Cottara Spa. I especially enjoyed spending time at Taonga Café & Bar by the beach, particularly during the afternoon and Golden Hour. The atmosphere was peaceful and perfect for slowing down. Overall, Khaolak Emerald is a great choice for anyone looking for a relaxing beachfront stay with beautiful surroundings, good facilities, and a laid-back atmosphere.

This resort is wonderful. Lovely modern rooms, great pools and beach. Small village outside with everything you need - restaurants, massage, laundry, market etc. Staff were all amazing but special mention to John & NaN front desk and Dada in restaurant. We will definitely be back.

What can I say? We are visiting this hotel for the fifth year in a row and have always been more than satisfied. The staff are friendly, and the service and rooms are spotless and of high quality. The breakfast is excellent. I once stayed at a 4-star hotel near London Paddington Station; it was about six times the price and a total dump—the breakfast was so bad it was practically inedible. Here, I’ve never had any reason to complain; even last time, when the Briza was suddenly converted into the Emerald (due to renovations), we were delighted with the Briza as well. I can highly recommend it.
