Moracea by Khao Lak Resort

Lovely hotel situated on a beautiful beach. We had a bungalow which felt nicely secluded as it was a row back from the beach bungalows. There was a lovely quiet pool for relaxing just outside our room and we were seconds from the beach. There’s a lovely beach bar a short walk up the beach, The Andalay, they do the most amazing prawns as well as lots of other Thai dishes, a great lunch spot. You can also get your washing done and book trips here too. Bungalows were very comfortable and spacious with a comfy bed. We enjoyed a good breakfast each day which had lots of choice to please everyone, everything was tasty and good quality. All staff were so friendly and helpful. A very positive experience for us apart from the mosquitoes which is no fault of the hotel, they spray the grounds everyday in a bid to keep them away but still we got bitten despite using repellent.

Beautiful on the sea. Long, beautiful beach. Many trees and greeery. Nice room. Lots of smiling faces. Great service. Sign up for the in house activities…most free. Several beautiful pools. I like to swim and most are long enough to accommodate. Lots of hills/stairs. They have onsite transportation, but you’ll do a lot. Limited commissary on site, closest 7/11 is 15 mins hike away.

Moracea Hotel. We always come back as it is such a great hotel. The gardens and green surroundings, the lovely sino portguese inspired rooms as well as the many different possibiltes to choose from to lay in the deckchair spending the day at one of their different pools or overlooking the beach. Moracea has plenty of character and great vibes! Breakfast is OK. This time they suprised us with a complementary plate of different fingerfoods when we arrived. Room was cleaned very well each day. One of my favorite Hotel in Khao Lak.

An incredible few weeks staying at Moracea. The grounds were beautiful and well looked after, staff were polite, helpful and always working hard. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and varied. The pools were many, although only one had water shallower than 1.2m for a 7 year old, but she was very happy in the pool she could go in! Food in the restaurant was really good quality, if a bit more expensive than local restaurants. Same for drinks. The recreation team were really helpful. The rooms were incredibly spacious and the views from the balcony were stunning. Check in and out was really simple and support team took care of luggage. The beach was very large, sandy and clean and had lots of fun rock pools for children to explore. The temperature of both the pools and the sea was very pleasant too. A definite recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at Moracea by Khao Lak Resort, perfectly situated along the beautiful beachfront in Khao Lak, Thailand. The resort delivers exceptional value and immaculate, spotless cleanliness from the rooms to the pool areas. What truly made our stay special was the outstanding support from Manager Sun, who went above and beyond to assist us and ensure everything was handled seamlessly. Highly recommend this wonderful Khao Lak destination!
