Reneissance Phuket Resort & Spa

Had a wonderful stay at Renaissance Phuket! The room was clean, comfortable and well maintained throughout our stay. A special mention to the housekeeping team, AMM, PIN, NING (day 2) & UMA, SARA (day3) for doing such a great job and for fulfilling our request for the animal towels —🐘🦒🐊 It was such a thoughtful and fun touch that really made our stay more memorable. Bam, the supervisor, deserves a special mention as well. He/she was incredibly welcoming and attentive from the beginning, and went the extra mile to make us feel special.

We had a really enjoyable stay at this large beachfront resort and found it to be good value for money overall. However it definitely isnt a place for people with no children to have a relaxing stay, and this is not really advertised in their marketing. The positives: The staff were friendly and helpful, the resort is right on the beach, and our room and bathroom were clean, spacious and comfortable. The food was also good, with plenty of options to choose from. Areas for improvement: As a couple travelling without children, we felt there was a lack of quieter areas where adults could simply sit and relax, particularly somewhere comfortable and air-conditioned. The coffee shop, for example, often had children playing and making quite a lot of noise while their parents were occupied on their phones. Perhaps the resort could consider creating a separate family-friendly café with a dedicated play area, which would give children somewhere to enjoy themselves while allowing the existing café to remain a quieter space. We also think another pool area specifically for adults or guests seeking a quieter environment would make a big difference. The main pool could be quite noisy, with children frequently screaming and playing, even though there is already a designated children’s pool in the Kids Club area of the resort. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and think the resort has a lot going for it. With a few more spaces designed for adults travelling without children, it could be an even more relaxing experience for couples and other guests in this demographic.

We had an amazing time staying at this resort. The place is beautiful, the beach is amazing, the rooms are very spacious and super clean, the breakfast and the food at the other restaurants was so good, but above all of these, which I am learning are pretty much the standard in a Marriott resort (which is super high and well maintained) was the level of service. The hotel staff went out of their way to make sure we felt welcome and enjoyed our stay. I would especially like to highlight R and Sun - the servers at the pool area. It's one thing to have an awesome server making sure you have what you need with speed and kindness. It's a whole other level though to have them make time to get to know the family, remember exactly who was on it and how many people, and the minute they're seeing either one of the family members coming - they already start setting up pool beds and towels for the entire group, pouring water into glasses, and remembering exactly which drinks each family member liked. Honestly - I have been to many resorts in the past but the service at this one was out of this world and we were very grateful for it!

The staff here are very supportive during the group staying. The hotel is beautiful and we love the people here. Thank you Pleng, Aon, and Bam for always helping out😃
