Spent two weeks at this hotel with my family: First, the downsides: People smoke everywhere at this hotel; it feels like all the smoking Germans/French/Serbs/Turks/Finns have gathered here. It's the kind of place where ashtrays are placed all the way from the checkpoint to the pier itself, and someone is sitting and smoking on every bench. The only place where people don't smoke is the restaurant, but in hot weather they open the windows, and it makes no difference — everything gets blown inside. *One time I was lying on a sun lounger at 6:00 a.m., fell asleep, and woke up because someone sat down next to me to smoke and also fell asleep, but left a cigarette clamped in their hand right in front of my nose. The hotel is a mecca for cats. There are hundreds of them here; it's not cute, it's filthy. The beach closest to the hotel is a cat litter box, and the walkways and all the approaches are so soiled that as soon as it rains, the stench is so bad it makes your eyes water. Overall, for an allergic person (which I am), this is hell. Strictly refuse, or hang a huge banner: "A HOTEL for smokers with no animal allergies." Cats climbed into our room three times, slept in the child's bed, one time sat on my wife's head in the middle of the night, and when she tried to remove them, they tried to scratch her. The good things: Very good cuisine, a 5, excellent fried fish, vegetables and side dishes, nice fruit, interesting desserts. Good breakfast, they really try hard. A good entry into the water from the pier and very comfortable sun loungers on it, but you need to go by 7:30, otherwise there will be no spots there. Decent, solid rooms and the layout of the hotel itself — pleasant, rather Greek in style. Bonus +/-: a matter of taste. Very annoying waiters with little tricks while waiting for tips — some people are fine with it, but it drove me crazy. They reserved the best spots with their phones, keys, cigarettes, yogurt, in order to seat tourists who, in their opinion, would give tips. In my beach shorts and T-shirt I didn't fit their idea of such guests, so we had regular rows about who had taken the tables. At 19:00 this was a problem, since there was a line at the restaurant entrance. Closer to 21:00 there's no one, so it's better to go at that time. The hotel is good — for a deeply older, smoking lover of volleyball and cats who dines no earlier than 20:30. Very bad for a young allergic person with a child. I definitely won't go there again and will recommend it to all my acquaintances. Now the impressions have dulled, but on the second day I wanted them to give me my money back and forget all communication with them like a bad dream, but I had a paid volleyball camp, so I endured it to the end.

This year, my parents and I decided to go to Kastalia with my children. What struck us straight away were the high standards of hygiene and the variety of food on offer. Hats off to the superbly guest-focused service. Overall, we found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. This is definitely a place I’ll return to one day. A small tip now and then is also greatly appreciated as a token of thanks. The cleaning ladies occasionally turn the bed linen into a veritable work of art. All in all, a holiday to remember.

The best place to relax and practice beach volleyball! Interesting and beautiful evening events, fun conversations with the entertainers, and most importantly, delicious food.

Good clean room. View on the swimming pool. Swimming pools are clean. People are very kind. Events at amfitheater were super. Food very good. One minus - mini disco too short for kids.
