Everything was perfect we really enjoyed our stay here. Especially i want to mention the cleaning service that was the best one. ❤️❤️❤️

September 2026 was the second time visiting Eftalia Ocean, but we are very unlikely to visit again. Firstly, the good points. The hotel was modern, and in the main was very clean. There was always staff collecting glasses, sweeping and mopping, and clearing tables etc. The main pool was great. We had hours of fun in there. The food court at the island that was open 12-4pm was great for lunch, with good food and plenty of options. Our room was spacious and the bathroom had a really good shower. There are plenty of amenities at the hotel, including a shop, a tattoo studio and a health and beauty spa. Some of the staff are friendly. Now for the bad parts. As soon as you arrive at the hotel, the reception staff try selling you a room upgrade. The upselling theme then continues for the duration of your trip, with various people walking around trying to sell you cocktails or iced coffee, bingo tickets etc. The staff at the spa are very pushy, asking every time they see you if you are going to book in for a treatment with them. If you say no they ask why not. The food in the main buffet hall is mediocre, with much of it being bland, cold, and of poor quality. There is a snack place called burger land, for when the buffet hall is closed. The food in there is terrible, consisting of stale pizza, chips that have been left out for ages, and burgers that taste like very bad kebab meat. The à la carte restaurants only offer a set menu, like it or lump it. There is no choice. The food offerings were that bad that we ate out a couple of times at local bars and restaurants. The all inclusive alcohol offering is very poor. If you don’t like watered down effes or low grade spirits then you are screwed. One morning at 3am we were woken by screaming and shouting. I went to investigate and there was a mass brawl going on in the downstairs lobby. I can’t help thinking that situations like that can be avoided by refusing to continue to sell alcohol to guests who are clearly very drunk. On site security should have stepped in earlier to defuse the situation. The lifeguards are useless. Too busy smoking and staring at their phones to notice what was going on. We Witnessed people jumping from the bridge into the pool on numerous occasions and the lifeguards were oblivious. There was also a family of obnoxious brits who were witnessed trying to intimidate a lone female in the pool, getting into multiple arguments with people in the pool, and the lifeguards did nothing about it. Eftalia Ocean is definitely not a 4 star all inclusive resort. It is, in my opinion, a budget all inclusive hotel. Our first all inclusive holiday was at Eftalia Ocean, and it was that bad that we are going back to self catering from next year.

We loved the hotel, the room upgrade (King Suite on the sixth floor) was AMAZING! We had a super experience and help from DEMET from guest relations. She’s amazing and really good at her job, super friendly. The people in the main restaurant were so kind, helpful and HARDWORKING! The lifeguards were also friendly and we felt very secure, they did their job well. The Grill A La Carte was super yummy and the staff was so friendly. The food at the main restaurant was so widespread and we loved the fresh fruit and salads especially. The only thing we didn’t like was the brutality of a lot of the guests, but that’s not the hotels fault! Just keep in mind it’s a family hotel and that it’s always busy. Thanks for everything!

1/5 Stars – Massive Disappointment: Misleading All-Inclusive, Shocking Hygiene, and Poor Service ​Our stay at Eftalia Ocean was deeply disappointing on almost every level, and the resort falls far short of what is advertised. ​Misleading "All-Inclusive" Board The hotel's description claims all bars and restaurants are included, but this is simply not true. Cocktails and fresh orange juice incur extra charges. Right beside the main pool area, there are large food stalls that are also not included. The standard basic alcohol provided in the standard package was virtually undrinkable and left me feeling unwell and stomach cramps. Even the basic hot and cold beverages were poor—the coffee was unpalatably bitter, and the soft drinks were overly sweet and syrupy. ​Pools & Waterpark Facilities The waterpark was a primary reason for our booking, yet the staff repeatedly shut off the water to the slides for hours at a time during the day, leaving the children unable to use them. When we asked if there was a technical issue, a lifeguard admitted they turned off the water so the entire staff could take their break together at the same time. ​Subpar Hygiene & Housekeeping The room cleaning was minimal at best. While sheets and towels were replaced, the floors were never mopped, and surfaces were never wiped down. The sofa in our room was visibly filthy—when I attempted to wipe it down myself, the towel turned completely black with grime. Furthermore, the bedding provided consisted of rough, scratchy, hospital-grade blankets that offered zero comfort. ​Disruptive Room Location We were placed on the first floor directly above the main industrial bin area. The smell was unbearable, and every 4 to 5 hours—day and night—staff dumped heavy sacks of glass bottles into the bins. The constant, loud crashing kept us awake throughout the night, leaving us completely exhausted for the duration of the trip. ​Entertainment & Hotel Staff Evening entertainment was disorganized and incredibly amateurish. Guests had to fight for basic seating every night just to watch. To make matters worse, hotel staff were constantly pestering us by the pool and along the walkways. If you did not tip them, their attitude turned noticeably rude and hostile. ​Beach & Surrounding Area The hotel beach was poorly maintained, litter-strewn, and unpleasant to spend time on. ​Excursion & Rep Experience Our experience with the Loveholidays rep was alarming. He organized a meal with a promised "free taxi," claiming the destination restaurant featured a Michael Jackson tribute act for the children. Instead, we were taken to a shopping center and told we had to spend money in the shops before we could go to the restaurant. After a stressful argument in an unfamiliar place, we finally reached the restaurant only to find no entertainment whatsoever, no performance, and overpriced, poor-quality food. The driver and staff repeatedly demanded tips despite the "free" pitch. It was an intimidating experience that completely broke our trust in the rep. ​Verdict Between the unhygienic conditions, misleading amenities, sleep disruption, and pushy staff, we would never return to Eftalia Ocean nor recommend it to anyone.
