Wonderful holiday and amazing staff! ❤️ We had a fantastic holiday at this hotel and would happily come back again! There were a few things that could be improved, especially the frequent accidents in the swimming pools and the room cleaning, but these things were overshadowed by the wonderful people who work here. A very special thank you to the evening entertainment team, especially Umut Agacdali and his colleagues, for all the fun, energy and smiles every evening. You are truly amazing! 🥰 A huge thank you to Tunco and the children’s entertainment team for making our children so happy and creating beautiful memories for them. And a special thank you to Ahmet Asker and his colleagues for their kindness and attention to our youngest child, and for the lovely birthday wishes. It meant a lot to our whole family. ❤️ The staff are the biggest reason we would choose this hotel again. Everyone was friendly, helpful, welcoming and genuinely seemed to love their work. Unfortunately, our overall experience was not as good as we expected. First of all, the food was okay, but there was not a great variety of options compared with other hotels we have stayed at in Turkey. For example, at Royal Dragon and Alhambra Palace, each day had a different theme, such as Chinese, Spanish, etc., which made the dining experience much more interesting. The desserts looked nice, but many of them were mainly made with jelly/gelatine and did not really have that “wow” factor when it came to taste. On the positive side, the baklava was excellent, and many of the cakes were also very good. Secondly, the swimming pools were very nice and well maintained. Unfortunately, many local guests did not follow the pool rules, especially families with young children who did not use swimming nappies. As a result, the hotel had to close the pools for several hours on three different days because children had accidents in the water. Another thing that could be improved is communication about the activities. If you stay at the children’s pool, you are not informed when activities or games are taking place at the main pool. This meant that we sometimes missed activities with our children. Apart from this, the entertainment team was excellent. I would also suggest adding more rubbish bins around the resort. There was quite a lot of rubbish in some of the green areas. Of course, this also depends on the guests and their behaviour, but having more bins could certainly help. Thirdly, the drinks were very well made and the bartenders clearly knew what they were doing. However, it was obvious that there were not enough staff and that many of them were extremely tired. Because of this, they sometimes seemed unhappy or were unable to provide the level of service you would expect from a hotel of this standard. The room was cleaned properly every day, which was good. However, there were some small details that were sometimes missed, such as not replacing the cotton buds. I would especially like to mention Tunco, who was responsible for the children’s entertainment. He was absolutely wonderful with our children and deserves special recognition. The children’s playgrounds were also beautiful and very enjoyable. Overall, unfortunately, our experience was not as good as we expected. Considering the price we paid, we expected a much higher standard. We would not choose to return to this hotel and, based on our experience, we would not recommend it.
