Haydarpasha Palace

Don’t go there! They ask extra money!!!! I made my reservation via website appeared on google search, and all was good! However during check in, they said this agency is only valid for certain nationals, and I have to pay extra money! Can you believe that? Reservation officer,Neslihan, she threatened me that either I pay extra money or they dont accept me to the hotel! Unbelievable! So, I strongly suggest you double check with your agency not to gwt a surprise during check in

The room was filthy the floors were disgusting in the room never cleaned properly in the 2 weeks we stayed there. When we arrived the beds had been sat in, previous guests opened items in fridge... We constantly found curly black hair in the beds around the room. We are not dark haired people. We noticed our childrens belongings going missing from our room. I also had a tub of chewing gum that I never used. Packing to go home found it was empty bar 3 in it. We had chicken on a number of occasions from the pool snack bar thar was still raw in the inside. Hotel is not a 5 star hotel its cleanliness is very poor. Children being sick in the pools, I reported this to lifegaurds and he replied in translation nothing can be donem Guests would bang on the walls for our children laughing at their tablets which is unacceptable, the children were not noisy and not doing anything wrong. I complained to reception nothing was done as the guests were turkish. Since arriving home all members of the family have had stomach issues. We did not eat anywhere else but in the hotel. I will never return to this hotel or this part of Turkey again.

It’s my first time in Haydarpasha Palace hotel and i want to also say thank you to the Animation team who always make fun activities. You never get boring here!

This holiday was lovely in every aspect till the last night. There was some local party (extremely loud music, whistling, shouting, scraping chairs to the floor)going on in the room above or near us. We call the reseption, because our child couldn't sleep because of the noise. We spoke to various people and they promised to do something about it, but they didn't. The annoying noise just went on and on and on. Food and other things were just perfect, but the Intervention in disruptive situations was non-existent.

The hotel looks nice—it's big and spacious with lots to do for kids. However, there are serious security and health issues you need to be aware of. First and foremost: the cleaners steal. A cleaner entered our room at 12:30 AM right after we stepped out briefly for snacks, and our expensive designer sandals went missing. Hotel management confirmed they can see on CCTV that she entered our room and left with a white bag, but because they "cannot confirm what is inside the bag," they take no responsibility for our missing belongings. Having items stolen is completely unacceptable, let alone for a five-star hotel. To make matters worse, this was a large family holiday with 6 adults and 6 kids under 10. All of the kids contracted a stomach bug from the hotel, resulting in severe vomiting and diarrhea, which subsequently passed on to all the adults. Because we were on an all-inclusive package and didn’t eat anywhere else, it clearly came from the hotel restaurant food. While we could have somehow lived through the illness, having our belongings stolen on top of it ruined the stay. We expected a luxury five-star experience and received anything but.
