Kentia Hotel

Brilliant hotel, rooms are lovely and spacious, very clean. Spot on pool space with plenty of sun loungers. We stayed for a week with lots of opportunities for excursions ( went on the pirate boat trip) close to the old town/ harbour which is definitely worth the trip plenty of shops and restaurants. Cost €10 / 600 lira to get down there. The team was very welcoming offer a good game of dart, nights out and entertainment- shout out to mami the coordinator for getting everyone involved. The all inclusive drinks included local beer and spirits with the opportunity to enjoy the cocktails at the additional paid bar (around 600 lira each) the food was hot and had a wide range of salads available. Although became slightly repetitive after a week.

Let's start with the positives....the rooms amaculate... the staff lovely except the restaurant manager who was ignorant. The food atrocious chicken served every meal. No other choice. When we highlighted this to the TUI rep who by the way was also useless and not interested he spoke to the restaurant manager in Turkish the manager then walked off and did not speak to us. The rep said we needed to make a list of what we would like . We did this gave it to the restaurant manager who said it was tough we didnt like it and wouldn't change. We ended up going out for food it was so bad . Shop keeper lovely.. photographer lovely ...massage staff lovely .TUI rep not interested... 26 years of going to SIDE never had a bad experience like this

My partner and I spent 2 weeks here from 29/8-12/9, and we had the best time. The hotel is spotless in every area. The food is OK; I've had better and definitely worse, but I always found something to eat. The omelette station in the morning is a delight. Drinks are normal Turkish local drinks: Efes beer, no cocktails, but that didn't bother us. All the staff are just wonderful so polite, friendly and always have a smile on their faces. Its about a 20 min walk to Side old town, which you must go and see. Daily shuttle bus to and from the beach its a nice beach. Water, tea and coffee are available for free. Had to get up early to get a sunbed, but that's standard in most hotels these days. All in all, it's a gem of a hotel, and i would highly recommend

Stayed in the kentia for 10 nights and all I can say is that it is a brilliant hotel very friendly staff the neighbourhood bar and cocktails are very nice , food needs to be worked on but overall very good hotel for all inclusive

We are here now the hotel itself is okay. The food is absolutely terrible all inclusive. It says all inclusive. My arse have to pay for orange juice milkshakes cocktail ice cream you’re inclusive bar closes at 10:30 borrowed them after that is to buy have to pay and it ain’t cheap. The Son lounge situation is a joke unless you get out of 5 o’clock and put your towels on you ain’t gonna get one me and my wife I’ve been out every night to eat however the restaurants are close by are very good and very very cheap. You can eat a very nice meal fresh fish for less than £50 for two with wine. I recommend eating out if you come here you will understand why staff offering me all very young 97% the staff cannot speak English. Rooms are cleaned every day the beds very very hard and you only get a bottom sheet. I give you a furry blanket for the top. The best thing about this hotel is the Wi-Fi. You get it everywhere you go in the hotel and it’s very good however don’t think about bringing a fire stick cause your TV don’t accept it. There is English channels on the TV if you wish to watch.
