Kentia Hotel

Kentia hotel is in a quiet area,one shop on site and there’s bigger shop over road,that’s it. Lovely hotel, with well maintained gardens to walk around. Most of staff are friendly but you also have miserable ones. Our room was one of the best we’ve stayed in, on ground floor with big terrace and nice comfy cushioned loungers. Restaurant part was lovely overlooking the pool, but to me biggest let down was you where allowed to smoke anywhere in there,so off putting when you’re eating food and on next table people smoking. Food was ok but don’t think there was much choice. There are cats in restaurant but give them a little food ( staff never minded),then watch them play.they won’t really bother you. If you go for drinks outside of hotel watch prices, it’s in Turkish lira, you sometimes think you paying in euros. Take Turkish lira with you, you might not ripped off. There is a shuttle bus to beach,sun lounger free on beach. There is a bus to take you to side ( old town),one euro each (ask at reception. Overall did enjoy holiday but was a bit too quiet for us.

Lovely stay for the money,rooms lovely even though ours was nt updated still nice, Food was good different meals every day,staff lovely, entertainment was good, foam party in pool,water polo and music all day, Beach was lovely but take some snacks with you as shops not near, So bad points -you have to get up early to put towels on sun beds,and very cramped, free drinks finish at 10.30pm And cleaning of rooms not great. But we enjoyed our stay, met some lovely friends I do think for the money was good €10 for taxi to old town worth a visit Hotel is out the way but lovely quiet and relaxing break.

The food was excellent. Lovely gardens. Very helpful staff. Smoking!!!! Never been in a hotel where smoking is allowed in dining areas. Turkish law is quite clear. Complained to the manager. Would not come back.

It is 20/25 mins from the beach. The hotel food was awful, it ruined our holiday. It was the worst. Oily aubergines. Deserts were warm and old. Breakfast lunch dinner was all awful we all lost a lot of weight as we didn’t eat much, kids hated it. Nothing to do for them. No entertainment. It was a dead holiday. Waste of money, we booked all inclusive. When we got to the hotel they said ice cream not included. Like WTF the list is endless

This hotel was ok. The food was ok. The cleaning staff and servers were lovely. The photographer was a really nice guy and the spa staff. The pool is very nice. We had a lovely stay until the day of departure. The management were terrible. We booked a late checkout on the day of departure. Normal check out being 1200, we agreed that we could keep the room till 1600. All settled with the reception staff in the morning. A price agreed. We came back at 1230. The manager Ahmed Yildram started aggressively questioning us about why we hadn't checked out. We explained we had arranged late checkout, he said we hadn't with him so it didn't count. He then said we could have our late check out as we had arranged with the morning staff.my husband went to go and pay and he put the price up. When my husband questioned this he became very angry and screaming at us that he changed his mind about the late check in and we had 30 mins to vacate the room or he is calling the police. So we had to just leave with my little girl in her pushchair. 6 hours until the coach was coming to get us for the airport. We are a normal family, who work really hard to afford a family holiday. This really ruined the experience for us. He then became aggressive saying we have 3 room keys when we only ever had two. And not accepting that we had only two keys. When we arrived maintenance were using a key to fix the room and he took it with him so we only had one and then got another from reception. Vile experience here. Would not come back. Would not recommend at all.
