I do not know who this hotel are getting to review it I wouldn't even say this was a 3* hotel food was more or less not edible absolutely repetitive warm at best as u can see from my pictures times the meat was raw not undercooked fully raw my 2 year old was given mouldy bread as well seen in pictures we booked a family room which showed in pics as a double single and 2 singles in connecting rook we got there and only a double bed and 2 single beds were there this was for 5 people ... everyone in the party was ill the whole holiday with sickness and diorreah the rooms were not being cleaned properly dirty bedding just being straightened out no sides being wiped dirty duvets etc ... now bring in Mind we repeatedly informed the hotel of the short comings and how ill the children were .. the rooms weren't cleaned properly... my review has been delayed as the children came bk so unwell they couldn't return to school and my youngest has skin infections from the amount of cuts from round the pool . Towards the end of the holiday staff become extremely roof and aggressive because apparently if we wanted a "real 5* we would of paid more " tried to tell us no one else was ill apart from us apart from everyone was ill we spoke to !! It was absolutely horrific

Location The location is decent enough. It’s around an hour from the airport and approximately €15 in a taxi to Side (around €18 for a return journey with a yellow cab). There isn’t much immediately around the hotel, but that’s not really an issue when you’re staying all-inclusive. There are shops and bars about a 25-minute walk away, along a straight road that’s easy to follow. The shops are pretty much full of the same stuff you’ll find in Side anyway. The beach is around a 10-minute walk away. It’s a pleasant walk along a private route and definitely worth the effort when you get there, particularly for the sunsets. Guests and atmosphere There was very little UK family representation at this hotel. We were there for four days before we heard an accent we recognised! That being said, there was never any trouble or hostility. However, there are some cultural differences with the predominantly Eastern European guests. It’s worth doing a little research into why some can come across as reserved, don’t smile at strangers or appear to push in queues. It’s generally not personal, but it can be a bit of a culture shock when you smile at someone and get a blank stare in return, or someone simply walks in front of you in a queue. It only happened to me twice, and by that point I’d done my Google research, so I wasn’t particularly offended! Different cultures, different ways of doing things. Rooms and hotel The rooms and the hotel in general look nice enough. However, and this is a BIG BUT, the soundproofing is absolutely shocking. You can hear doors slamming on practically every floor. At one point, I heard someone coughing in the room next door and genuinely had to check they weren’t actually in our room! You can hear EVERYTHING. It was particularly awkward with the kids around, and we found ourselves turning on the shower or television for a bit of background noise. Nobody was being particularly loud or unreasonable; the walls are simply paper-thin. Bring earplugs. Seriously, you won’t regret it. Food and drink As with most all-inclusive holidays, the food and drink can become a little repetitive after a while, but this was probably the worst example we’ve experienced so far. Even the kids, who are generally quite basic eaters, complained that they were fed up with chicken nuggets and plain pasta. There was genuinely very little else they fancied eating, and they didn’t enjoy the desserts either. For me, it was pretty much eggs and melon for breakfast, followed by chicken and salad for lunch and dinner. I try to eat relatively healthily, but this wasn’t exactly through choice! I made the mistake of trying the curry one evening. Let’s just say I regretted that decision the following morning! Entertainment and pool area Entertainment was virtually non-existent, although this could have been down to the time of year we visited. The kids’ disco consisted of the same four or five songs every evening and lasted around 15–25 minutes at best. On the positive side, the pool area was lovely and quiet, with hardly anyone around. We actually enjoyed that, although again, the time of year probably played a part. Photography The hotel photographer was a real disappointment. I was in the room one afternoon and came downstairs to find my wife asleep on a sun lounger while the photographer was taking pictures with my 11-year-old daughter. Personally, I found the situation inappropriate. The photographs themselves were disappointing quality for the money, and there was a constant effort to encourage you to buy more. Even when I asked about purchasing the digital versions of the photographs, which I thought were excellent, he wanted more money again. I wouldn’t recommend his approach, service or value for money, which was a shame. Would we return? If this holiday came up again, we would consider it, but it would have to be an exceptionally good deal. Don’t worry too much about the cultural differences; it’s not a big deal. Just get your resting face ready to match theirs and you’ll be fine! Take earplugs (and spares), make the effort to visit the beach because it’s lovely, and get out for two or three evening meals to break up the food monotony. Side has some lovely restaurants. The shops are pretty much selling the same things wherever you go. It’s fun to have a wander around, but there’s very little that’s actually worth buying. That said, the kids will love a knock-off football kit! One final point: the weather. Going to Turkey at this time of year is always a bit of a gamble. We had four or five days of genuinely lovely sunshine, but the weather forecast showed pretty much constant rain either side of those days. For that reason alone, we probably wouldn’t choose to visit Turkey at this time of year again. Overall, an enjoyable enough holiday, but certainly not one we’d rush back to unless the price was right.

We stayed at this hotel for the first time as part of a business trip. We have visited Turkey many times before and stayed in excellent 5-star and 5-star-plus hotels, so we definitely have something to compare it with. And I can say with absolute confidence: this hotel does not deserve its five-star rating! The rooms are absolutely worn out, old, shabby, and in terrible condition. There is mold everywhere in the bathroom, and everything is deteriorating and literally falling apart. There are no bathrobes in the rooms (apparently, they are not even provided at this hotel), and not even proper bedding. We had to repeatedly ask the staff just to get basic necessities! The beach towels look more like dirty floor-cleaning rags — old, torn, and filthy. An absolute disgrace for a hotel that claims to be five-star! Room cleaning is a complete nightmare! In reality, there is hardly any cleaning at all. What they call “housekeeping” basically consists of wiping the floors in every room on the same floor with the same wet mop. The showers and everything else are practically never cleaned. And it makes absolutely no difference whether you leave a tip or not — the cleaning standards remain equally terrible. During our stay, there was a serious outbreak of gastrointestinal illness at the hotel, with severe vomiting and diarrhea. Many of our colleagues attending the same business event became seriously ill, and some even had to be hospitalized! After seeing the appalling hygiene standards, this is hardly surprising. When everything is cleaned with the same cloth, you seriously begin to wonder whether even the most basic hygiene regulations are being followed. Of course, the exact source of the infection cannot be confirmed without an investigation, but the situation raises very serious concerns! The food is extremely repetitive and the selection is very limited. There is hardly any choice of meat dishes. For a hotel claiming to have five stars, this standard of food is simply unacceptable. The hotel is mainly geared towards Russian-speaking guests. In my opinion, European tourists who are used to proper service and reasonable quality standards have absolutely no reason to stay here! The beach is approximately a 7-minute walk from the hotel. However, you have to cross a busy road with heavy traffic, and there isn’t even a proper pedestrian crossing! Apparently, guest safety is not much of a priority here either. Interestingly, the food at the beach bar sometimes seemed fresher than the food served in the main restaurant. The beach staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming — probably one of the very few positive experiences during our entire stay. Final verdict: a complete disappointment! Old, shabby rooms, mold, appalling housekeeping, questionable hygiene, poor food selection, and serious concerns about the hotel’s sanitary conditions. I strongly advise European tourists against staying at this hotel if they expect genuine five-star service. This place comes nowhere close to the standards that a five-star hotel should meet!
