Side Royal Style

Our room was very modern and, although it already showed a little wear, still really lovely. The hotel grounds were beautifully maintained, and we loved the atmosphere and decorations. In the evenings, there were shows or discos on the terrace or in the amphitheatre. It did get a little loud at times, but everything was quiet after 11 pm. We barely heard our neighbours either, apart from when they moved furniture. The minibar was restocked daily, which was great. However, on two consecutive days, the staff member responsible knocked and immediately opened the door without giving us time to respond. This felt intrusive—what if one of us had been undressed? Staff should definitely wait for a response before entering. Service at breakfast, lunch and dinner varied. Some servers were smiling and friendly, while others seemed rather annoyed. The reception staff at Royal Style were all very friendly, although communication between the two hotels needs improvement. We understood that the hotels were merging, but getting clear, consistent information from both sides was sometimes difficult. The animation team was amazing! Special thanks to Mimi, Harkan and Helmut for making our stay so enjoyable. For us, the entertainment was just right: enough to keep things fun without being too much or feeling pushy. If you’re looking for a lively party atmosphere throughout your stay, another hotel might suit you better. If you enjoy a more relaxed balance, you’ll be happy here. There are plenty of shops nearby, so it’s worth spending some time exploring outside the hotel. We also had no trouble finding free sunbeds around either pool at 9–10 am. The food was really good, and we always found something delicious to eat or something new to try. The cocktails were great too! I would have liked a wider selection of red meat, but the chicken and steamed fish were my personal favourites. Snacks were available between meals, and the coffee shop was open for most of the day. The gym equipment was also very good—fairly new and in great condition.

Not worth the money. This is not a 5 star hotel, a 3 at best. 1,300 guests but only 2 small pools. Entertainment pool is very loud but they have the games during the day if you wanted to get involved. The food is very plain and boring. We struggled with the food for our holiday and even lost weight on our return. The staff work very hard and are on minimum wage. The rooms in the side royal hotel are very dated and dark, the royal style hotel (sister hotel on same complex) is newer and modern. The capacity of this hotel are mainly German, say no more!! Entertainment team are very unenthusiastic in their jobs. The beach is lovely and a nice touch that they have a fridge with cold drinks. The chap at the beach will save you beds if you give a tip. There is a free shuttle bus that takes you to the beach, but it’s quicker to walk it,it’s not far. You need to hold your nose whilst walking past the rubbish bins, due to the stench is horrendous in the heat. Go and see the turtles on the bridge by the beach. The shops outside of the hotel are all the same and always getting pestered to go into their shop. Side is a nice place to visit by the harbour, especially the Liman restaurant but it’s expensive but wow the setting is breathtaking

I have been there for 8 days, I adult + 1 kid (12y.old) A great hotel with a very good services. We had a nice room with a pool view. Clean, full minibar every day. In a dining room always lot´s of diferent kind of food. The drinks were served. And this was sometimes a problem. Long time waiting for it. Else, very good coffe, also lovely food in a hotel and also on the beach, where we usually had lunch. One problem was the hotel shuttle bus to the beach. Tiny, with insufficient capacity for that many people—especially when people with a stroller crammed themselves in. The same from the beach. But walking there is cca 10 min. On the beach, bar, showers, wc, all clean and sufficient. There is a sufficient number of sun loungers on the beach. Unfortunately, the situation at the pool was different. However, the guests themselves are to blame for this, as they bring towels to the poolside loungers and claim them early in the morning, even though they might not show up for half the day. There was entertainment and an animation program every day. In August, of course, you have to expect a bit more noise, but nothing you can't handle. As for the staff, in most cases they are smiling and always willing to help. There are plenty of shopping options near the store. Overall, I rate it as a fantastic holiday at a great price. I would definitely come back. Highly recommended!

I recently got back from my stay at Side Royal Style. Be prepared for very limited English. Many staff members barely speak any English, including the people at the reception. If you're German, this is definitely the place for you. Most of the staff speak very good German, and you may even receive noticeably better treatment because of where you're from. If you're Romanian, good luck. We were treated with a level of arrogance that I haven't even experienced in Western Europe, especially at the spa, where you'll likely hear discriminatory jokes :). Another thing to keep in mind is tipping. The more you tip, the friendlier the staff become. If you don't tip regularly, don't expect many smiles from most of them. The pool is quite small, and the entertainment team is barely noticeable. The evening shows were rather boring. Our room was very close to The Crown Hotel, and we could clearly hear the much more engaging entertainment they were putting on, which made the difference even more obvious. If you want a good spot at the beach, be aware that the beach attendant reserves most of the best sunbeds. By the time you arrive in the morning, you'll usually have to ask him for one of the better spots, and, of course, a tip is expected afterward. So while the sunbeds are technically free of charge, that wasn't really our experience. On the positive side, the room was very clean and modern. Just be aware that housekeeping doesn't always leave much bottled water unless you tip them daily. The food was decent, nothing extraordinary, but no unpleasant surprises either. I definitely recommend making a reservation at the Sultan Restaurant inside the hotel. It's included in your stay, and the food there was the best I had during my vacation. Overall, I had a decent time, but I would definitely think twice before coming back.

Mero is the best! He is really good at making a good and fun atmosphere. He’s is really good at planning the entertainment at the hotel to make feel people nice. The hotel is beautiful throughout and the beach is nice, there is plenty of sun beds available with a lot of space. We would definitely recommend this hotel and come back at some point.
