We went self-catering, although the apartments weren’t particularly well equipped for cooking. The two-ring hob had to be plugged in and there was very limited workspace, so we found cooking quite tricky and time-consuming but we rat out every night and just use facilities for breakfast and lunch. The bedrooms, were a good size but limited lounge area. Hot water was limited in the mornings, although we had warm water in the evenings but the showers were good and water pressure great. The pools were kept clean and looked well maintained. We didn’t eat or drink in the hotel or make use of the entertainment, but those who did seemed to enjoy the variety on offer. I did hear one couple moaning that Icecream was not offered as part of all inclusive. You can walk to the beach closest to the hotel, although the walk does involve a steep incline. We didn’t mind this as we enjoy walking, but it is worth bearing in mind for anyone with limited mobility. The sunbeds there are reserved for the hotels, so we just sat on the sand and had a swim. The hotel’s own beach can be reached by the courtesy bus and is just on the other side of the old town literally the first section of beach, the bus leaves at 10,11 and 2 not sure if return times. It’s a really lovely spot, wide section lots of sun beds. You can walk back along the beach and through the old town to the other beach and back, which is around 1.5 miles. However, the walk back from the hotel’s beach involves a step climb up to the old town, so this particular walk wouldn’t be suitable for anyone with limited mobility. There are no lifts, which is fairly standard for this type of hotel. The maid service seemed to be daily, although on some days they simply emptied the bins. Free air conditioning was a bonus. Wi-Fi was chargeable, but we used eSIMs instead, so this wasn’t an issue for us. The hotel also seemed to have two very friendly, well-looked-after dogs, and the cats were welcomed and treated kindly, which was lovely to see. There are a couple of supermarkets very close by as well as a small shop directly across the road, so getting essentials was really easy. Water super cheap. Overall, keeping in mind that this is a 3-star hotel, we were happy with our stay. The location is good for accessing the beaches, old town and local shops, but it is worth noting that there are some steep inclines and quite a bit of walking involved. If you enjoy walking, as we do, we found the location really suited us, but it may not be the best choice for anyone who prefers to be close to everything without much walking, or for people with limited mobility.
I had a great experience with Beko looked me from day one great time I will definitely be back to see beko made a lot of peoples holiday a great experience 👍🏻
Had an absolutely amazing time at this hotel. The food is beautiful, especially the lunch. All the staff have made our holiday extra special, especially the entertainment guys. Bako was the best. Absolutely made our holiday. We've met some great people here that will remain friends. If I can say one thing, book the gold package massage! The ladies do the best massage ever! Great place. We will be returning next year! Thanks sun city! Xxx
Whilst on holiday by dad fell down a step in the hotel room on day 3 of our holiday causing ligament damage to he’s toe, resulting in him ending up in hospital and a boot on he’s foot, the hotel did not care, all they did was phone a cab to get to the hospital and put a line of mastic on the step and a bit of tape. The hotel refused to do a accident report at the time, the manager brushed it off, we went through our holiday provider and the hotel have denied that happened and that the step was not in their hotel! Terrible service would not recommend. We lost out on our day trips we booked and much more.
Food was terrible, the snack bar on the beach you had to pay far and was only aloud soft drinks for for free with all inclusive, ,the two ring cooker had black tape wrapped round the wire ,and the free shuttle bus was not good the front wind screen on the bus was cracked
