Our 3rd time at this hotel in just over 12 months, we love this place. From the restaurant staff, bar and cleaners, everyone makes you feel so welcome. We missed Hadi who is a waiter for the beach Pavillions; hope youre on the mend Hadi, we heard you injured your shoulder

Clean and nice rooms, delicious food, great kids activities , with fair price, super helpfull staff , nice position and clean Strand.

We have just returned from an absolutely fantastic family holiday at the Wyndham Garden Lara and honestly, this hotel was such a wonderful surprise! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We travelled as a family of five with three older kids aged 17, 17 and 20, and every one of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay. One of the most special moments of our entire holiday was celebrating one of the kids turning 18 while we were there. The hotel went above and beyond to make her birthday memorable. They arranged for a beautiful chocolate birthday cake to be made especially for her, complete with her name on it, and presented it to her in the Italian restaurant on the evening of her 18th birthday. They even decorated our table with rose petals. 🌹🎂 It was such a beautiful, thoughtful touch and made her 18th birthday feel incredibly special. It’s those little extra things that you remember long after a holiday is over, and we were so grateful to the staff for making such an important birthday one we’ll always remember. ❤️ The cleanliness of this hotel also deserves a special mention. It was absolutely spotless throughout. The swimming pool areas were constantly kept clean and even the toilets beside the pools were immaculate. You could really see how much effort the staff put into maintaining the hotel. The staff were fantastic — friendly, attentive and always willing to help. The reception team in particular couldn’t have done enough for us and were always so helpful whenever we needed anything. Our room was cleaned beautifully every day and our cleaner was brilliant. I believe her name was Ayse. On our final day she even left us a lovely handwritten note wishing us a safe journey home, which was such a thoughtful personal touch and something we really appreciated. ❤️ The food was great with plenty of choice. We personally preferred the lunches to the evening meals, but that was simply our own preference. The beach area was beautiful and the sea was unbelievably warm — genuinely like getting into a bath! We also hired one of the beach pavilions for the day for €80 for our family of five and it was absolutely worth it. Such a lovely way to spend a relaxing day together. If I had to mention one small negative, the bed was VERY hard! 😂 However, the pillows were so comfortable that they somehow made up for it, and after the first night I honestly didn’t even notice the firmness of the mattress anymore. Another thing we really appreciated was how easy the hotel made our final day. After checking out, we were able to use the spa shower facilities before travelling home. There was no booking, no reserved time slot and no fuss whatsoever. You simply walked in whenever suited, took a fresh clean towel and used the shower facilities. It made such a difference and meant we could enjoy our entire last day before getting washed and changed for the journey home. The spa itself was so peaceful and chilled. We actually booked this holiday very last minute and, because there wasn’t a huge amount of choice left on the Jet2 website, I was a little worried about what the hotel would be like. I needn’t have worried at all! Wyndham Garden Lara was a real dark horse and completely exceeded our expectations. We had such a happy, relaxing family holiday here and made some wonderful memories together. We would absolutely return. And one little tip if you’re visiting Antalya — make sure you take a trip into Kaleiçi, Antalya’s beautiful historic old town. It is absolutely stunning and was one of the highlights of our holiday. ❤️ Thank you to everyone at Wyndham Garden Lara for giving our family such a lovely holiday. would not recommend this hotel Staff are rude, they are not geared up for English tourists, they talk about you and laugh at you if you ask for something, there was only one good guy on reception who was helpful. The hotel is on a main road rite out of town with nothing around, rooms were not cleaned daily pool was ok until we got told to move and they took all the sun beds away for a function without any notice. i would never go back to this hotel.

Don’t go on the good reviews because they clearly are writing about the wrong hotel. Don’t bother booking a stay with your family here. The rudeness from the staff at the hotel is absolutely disgusting and will ruin your trip. Every member of staff was rushing to attend to the next person they did not bother to show attention to who they was talking to them. The food was average very repetitive started to get boring after the first two days. If you’re looking for a space near the pool you can forget it because there will not be a single spot vacant and the staff will not help you to find a spot to pull up a lounger either. The cleaners did a poor job apart from changing the sheets they did not bother to give the room a good wipe or clean the floors a little. Overall if you want a stress free holiday then absolutely do not book with this resort. From the time we checked in to the time we checked out the staff were extremely unprofessional. The lack of manners were shown on their faces which made us very uncomfortable. I would like to especially point out this lady in glasses who handled us during our checkout. Unfortunately on our part we forgot we had to check out at 12pm as our transfer for our flight was 7pm in the evening, we got a call from the lady to remind us and we rush back to pack our stuff. When we got to our room our card was not working so my husband had to go back down to sort it out and she was extremely rude to him while he was trying to explain the situation and apologise for us forgetting the checkout time but she still continued to say “check out is at 12”. We continued to pack while rushing as we were already late but we then got numerous knocks on our door and then a phone call from the same lady at reception. Not one person offered any solution to help us with our situation, it would have been great to be offered a solution where we were able to pay a little extra to have the room for a few more hours as we had 7 hours till our transfer came to pick us from the hotel, unfortunately there’s not one single brain cell between the lot of them at reception which is why they probably didn’t offer anything as such. When we came down to sit in the lobby at 2pm we grabbed a few nuggets and chips from the restaurant for our 1 year old to eat and the same lady with glasses rushed over to our table to say “food in the restaurant only” and repeated that phrase and did not let us get a word in and the disgusting grin she had on her face made me feel so disrespected as a guest that I for sure knew I did not want to come back here. I wouldn’t book here nor would I let anyone who has asked me where I stayed when I talk about my trip to Turkey. This resort and its staff has put me off ever coming back to the country again.
