We had a lovely holiday here but I’ve paid the same amount for holidays and stayed in other better 5 star resorts in Turkey so I was overall disappointed but we made the most of it and enjoyed it for what it was. We are a family of 4 with kids aged 12 and 14. I know some people who we spoke to thought it was great but I do think it depends on previous comparisons and what you’ve paid. As I say this was an expensive holiday in school holidays so I expected more. I’ll start with the good points: hotel very clean and the staff work tirelessly all through the resort, waiting staff, cleaning, entertainment staff etc. We made requests for additional bed linen etc for room which were brought straight away. Queues for drinks were generally OK, a few times they were lengthy but on the most busy days of our stay. We had a two bedroom family suite which was very spacious. The kids splash area by the pool looked good (too young for mine) and the beach area was good. Plenty of food and drinks available. Enjoyed the pizza bar and churros. We did the pagoda on the beach for 60 euros which was definitely worth it and Hadi our waiter was very good. Nice to be able to do the al a carte restaurants at no extra cost but book ahead and can only use twice, which for an 8 night stay would have liked 3 times as buffet very repetitive. Children liked the games put on by the staff in the day. The negatives, it’s lacking the extra details - room was spacious but no drawers to store anything, just used our cases. Mini bar just soft drinks, we’ve had beers in previous hotels and crisps. Bed was the hardest bed think I’ve ever slept on, heard many others complain about this to. Slides in the main pool, only 2 of the 4 working and one of which is inflatables which they had just 4 inflatables in total so just unnecessary queuing. Also the Lifeguard at top was not controlling people going down. Main pool was in the shade most of the day. So went to beach pool instead. It is a 5 min walk across a very busy road and all a-bit scruffy really in terms of area. But you get use to it. Witnessed a bad accident on the pedestrian crossing so you have to be very Careful as mopeds just still come through on red and use the crossing as pedestrians would do. Food especially in the evening was very repetitive. Usually except at a 5 star to mix it up a little more with themed evenings or something. Desserts looked good but all tasted the same or of nothing. Al a carte restaurants could be better with a bit more atmosphere, for example the Turkish is just in the large snack bar by the beach with a few tables in the large space, no music, no nice lightening. Would I come again - no. Would I recommend to friends - no.
Arrived 26th September for 2 weeks, quick, easy check in at reception. Hotel is nice and very clean, lots of staff. Lots of food but it is very repetitive, did find something to eat each night. Would be nice if the hotel could do a more extensive themed night in the buffet? Pools got colder towards the end of the holiday. Daytime entertainment was okay down at the beach pool, but again towards the end of the holiday the team couldn’t be bothered to do the club dance at 12.30. Lunchtime at the beach restaurant in the same food everyday, there is a pizza bar also down here too. Pool around the hotel is very shaded by other buildings. Evening entertainment not brilliant again, quiz nights, one night a week was a movie night, Michael Jackson show was excellent, unfortunately the magic show was rubbish. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel or visit it again due to the food and entertainment as there are a lot better hotels in the area.
We recently come back from the Wyndham gardens and loved it, you can't really fault it tbh. The food was plentiful tasty and hot, unlike some buffets we've had before. The only negative comment would be that they cannot fry an egg. Other than that something for everyone. People who complain that it's a bit samey must realise they are catering for a lot of nationals and it's would be impossible to do all different dishes everyday. There is so much choice you could have a different meal every night. It's very clean, the rooms are nice and a lovely big shower with powerful flow and plenty of hot water. There is a sister hotel across the road you can use too, they have a indoor pool as well. Less than 10 mins walk to another pool and splash pool for kids, with a bar and snack places too,. The private beach is steps away with a jetty and another bar, fridges dotted around with water all day too. Freezers with Cornetto and other ice creams that you can help yourself to. The staff are all friendly and helpful and they even look out for the cats around the hotel too. Lots of shops near by to have a wonder around with no hassle. It was certainly value for money and would go again.
This hotel and the whole complex is perfect for traveling with a family. Starting from the fact that it is so close to the airport. The family room (or rather a 3-room apartment) was large, spacious, clean. The meals were very tasty and varied! It was easy to find something tasty and healthy for the kids. You could also try a lot of different meals. And how clean! The service was exactly right for a Northern European - polite, but not intrusive. The pools were cold at the end of October, but the kids didn't mind. On the other hand, the sea was sooooo warm and nice. We stayed for 8 days and you can definitely stay there longer without getting bored or anything bothering you. I really like the experience. I definitely want to go back. Also so much fun for kids in KidsClubs! And there were 3 of them. Everyday different activities.
We have just arrived home from 9 days at this hotel, myself, my husband and our 2 boys. We had the best holiday! Our room was in block 8 over looking the pool which was nice, our room was cleaned to a great standard every day and drinks were replenished in the fridge each day. It was my son’s birthday whilst we were there and the room was decorated with rose petals & a lovely fruit bowl. We also ate in the Mexican Al a carte restaurant that evening and they brought him out a cake and sang happy birthday which was so lovely! The staff here don’t stop cleaning communal areas, they are constantly on top of anything dropped on the floor or empty glasses left on tables, making the hotel very clean and tidy. There’s entertainment at the hotel pool and the beach pool everyday, the atmosphere is great and the kids loved the darts, table tennis and cocktail games. There is always somewhere to get food, whether that be in the restaurant, at the hotel pool snack bar, the restaurant at the beach pool or the pizza bar at the beach pool. There are also fridges dotted around the resort with cartons of water. The food was very nice for an all inclusive, well done to the chefs who did not stop. They also did a great dessert selection for Halloween, it looked amazing! The only thing I would say is that it would be nice to have scooped ice cream available in the restaurant. The beach /beach pool is about a 6 min walk away from the hotel but there is a beach shuttle bus going backwards & forwards every 10 mins if needed. We did a trip to the Land of Legends whilst we were there and we had such a great day, I would recommend to anyone with kids. We had a late flight home so asked on the day if we could keep the room on for longer, they let us keep it until 2pm free of charge which was great or it’s 40euro to keep it for the full day. Overall we had a fabulous holiday and made some great memories! 🥰
