Cook's Club Adakoy Marmaris

A truly wonderful holiday My daughter and I had an amazing week at Cook’s Club Adakoy with Neilson. The relaxed atmosphere was perfect, and there was such a great range of activities that we could make the most of every day, from morning until evening. Sam the Neilson manager gave us the welcome info session when we arrived - lots of advice on how to make the most of our holiday and book the activities. Lucy and Nicky from Neilson deserve a very special mention. They were fantastic ambassadors for the brand: welcoming, attentive and professional, while making sure everyone had a great time. Whether they were helping us with our yoga poses or making new guests feel included, they brought warmth and enthusiasm to everything they did. Their encouragement made the activities even more enjoyable, and I learnt so much from them. Their customer service was truly exceptional. The watersports team were brilliant too, and my daughter loved her private e-foil lesson with Cody. The food and service at Cook’s Club were excellent, with plenty of choice and attentive staff. One thoughtful touch that stood out was at breakfast: the server at the coffee station would see us arriving and have our coffees ready exactly how we liked them. Small gestures like that made us feel especially well looked after. After a busy day of activities, I would also highly recommend a massage at the spa—it was the perfect way to unwind. October was an ideal time to visit, with temperatures that were comfortable for daytime activities. However, it is worth packing warmer layers for the early mornings and evenings. My only minor niggle was that the pool was not heated, as I love swimming and the water was cold. The exceptional service continued even after our departure. I stupidly left my laptop at the hotel, but the Cook’s Club staff and Neilson team went out of their way to coordinate its safe return to me in the UK. Their kindness and reassurance were greatly appreciated and showed just how much they genuinely care about their guests. I would absolutely recommend Cook’s Club Adakoy with Neilson to anyone looking for the perfect balance of relaxation, adventure and outstanding service.

Stunning location, with great freshly cooked food and lovely staff. Good for exercise classes and access to the sea [limited sailing] with a lovely pool/bar area. Padel court facility is a let down. Poor quality, no organised sessions [very much up to the residents to sort themselves out]. A bit of an after thought, located out of the way in the marina. If you're looking to play lots of padel don't choose this resort.

Just got back from a fabulous week there. Fab hotel in a great setting and staff so helpful. Food is delicious. Hope to return . Lots of sports activities on site and we just about tried them all.

Had a great week here with Nielsen Holidays at Cooks Club Adakoy. It really is a beautiful setting and hotel and the staff are amazing and friendly - particular shout outs to Freya and the Turkish bar team, Honor who drove the RIB, Nicky and all the sports team, the general manager who was always around the place and the reception team who were always there to help. I'm sorry but I can't remember all your names but grateful for your great service particularly after a long season. Special mention to the catering team - the food was so good and varied and constant. The sushi was amazing too. We bought the all inclusive package with Nielsen so we never had to worry about spending too much and the all inclusive offering was plentiful - just a pity the price for cocktails was so expensive (15 euros for an Aperol Spritz) - if they had been a little cheaper we might have indulged in some... There is so much to do - paddle boarding, kayaking, e-foiling, padel, e-bikes, gym sessions, sound baths, catamarans (when the wind was blowing) , snorkelling and RIB rides. The cinema nights were great too - with popcorn supplied FOC. The only negative was our room - very dark even with all the lights on and felt quite damp and in the evening, we never managed to get a hot shower all week, only luke warm. We went late September/early October so the weather was very changeable. The ducks were so cute but constantly begging like dogs - funny !!! But I suppose if we feed them then they're going to beg for more. A must try for all xx

WOW… what a place! We came for the first time and we WILL be back! ❤️ Myself and Mark came here for the first time and, honestly, from arriving in the early hours we were made to feel so welcome by the whole team. We woke up the next morning and genuinely felt like we'd woken up in paradise. It was so peaceful and relaxing straight away — exactly what we'd hoped for. The food 🍴 We went all-inclusive and it was absolutely the best decision. There was so much choice and everything we ate was brilliant. I'm now slightly worried I've set the bar too high and need to seriously step up my cooking game when we get home to keep Mark quiet! 😂 The drinks were also fantastic, with loads of choice, and everything we had was great. The team 🍹 Honestly, the staff are what make this place so special. Every single person we met was friendly, welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. They made Mark a fantastic cocktail for his birthday and made such a fuss of us throughout our stay. They even helped Mark learn some Turkish! They were so lovely that they printed out Turkish words for us, including how to pronounce them, so he could practise each evening. They were genuinely delighted whenever he tried — which made it really fun. The atmosphere This is probably what we loved most. It's incredibly calm and relaxed, but never boring. You can spend the day doing as much or as little as you like. There's a DJ playing great tunes in the late afternoon which gets your foot tapping, then things naturally start to quieten down around 9–10pm. You can sit outside with a glass of wine, chat to other guests on the sofas and just completely switch off. It has a really lovely "we're all here together" feeling. We met so many lovely people during our stay, and everyone seemed to be there for the same reason — to relax, enjoy themselves and escape for a while. Cinema on the beach 🎬 Cinema nights on the beach were just stunning. Everyone sitting around together with popcorn and a glass of wine, watching a film under the stars… it felt so cosy and special. It's one of those things you don't realise you'll love until you're actually there. And then… THE DUCKS! 🦆❤️ Now this deserves its own section! There are 21 ducks wandering around the resort, going in and out of the sea, and for me — as a huge animal lover — they were honestly one of the highlights. They are incredibly friendly and became part of our daily entertainment. I spent the whole 10 days trying to convince Mark that we absolutely needed to take a couple home. The answer was still no. 😂 Along with the ducks, there are also some gorgeous, very friendly cats around the resort — so if you're an animal lover, you will be in heaven. Activities & things to do There is so much choice. The team are brilliant at giving advice and encouragement, particularly if you're trying something for the first time. Everything is shown on the app, so you can simply see what's happening and pick what you fancy — from yoga and sound baths to paddleboarding and other water activities. Or you can quite happily do absolutely nothing! That's what makes it work so well. The location 🌴 The location is simply stunning. It's tucked away, peaceful and feels like you've discovered somewhere really special. The views are WOW. I've used the word "wow" far too many times during this review, but honestly, I don't know what else to call them! It's beautiful without feeling overly polished or commercial, which is exactly what we loved. The rooms Our room was lovely and really comfortable. I slept like a baby every night — which tells you everything! After days in the sunshine, swimming, eating, drinking, chatting and generally doing very little, we'd head to bed and wake up feeling completely refreshed. And it's not just for couples One thing I really noticed while we were there was how well the hotel works for different types of travellers. There were people travelling alone who had come to completely switch off and get away from everything, and there was a really welcoming atmosphere around everyone. If you need to work while you're away, there is also a fantastic office/work space, as well as a TV room, so you can actually combine working with getting away somewhere beautiful. You don't feel like you're surrounded by people who are all doing the same thing — everyone can make the holiday what they want it to be. Overall ❤️ We genuinely couldn't have asked for a better holiday. The location, food, drinks, activities, atmosphere and — most importantly — the people made it incredibly special. It felt less like staying in a traditional hotel and more like discovering a little community where everyone is there to relax, have fun and enjoy the surroundings. We came for the first time, completely switched off, made some lovely friends, celebrated Mark's birthday and left feeling genuinely sad to go. We absolutely loved it and will 100% be back. If you're looking for somewhere beautiful, peaceful and relaxed where you can do as much or as little as you like, eat brilliantly, meet lovely people and completely escape for a while… Book it. You won't regret it. ❤️ Thank you to the entire Cook's Club team for giving us the best holiday we've had. We'll be back! 🦆🍹🌴❤️
