I’m not even sure how to start as I have so much I want to say! This was my 5th time coming back to this hotel, I’ve been coming here with family and friends since they opened and each time it’s only gotten better and I’ve immediately started planning for my next trip back. You always leave Sundia wanting to come back, without a doubt. I can only assume the staff here are given a masterclass in anticipating your needs, you never want for anything. They remember so many things about you and how you like things done, without you even having to say anything. From the cleaners, to the bar and dining staff, to the entertainment team and the night manager. We visit the spa each and everytime and have always loved it. The Turkish bath is amazing, the massages are fantastic and the staff, as always, add such magic to the experience. We have had the same masseuse for a few years now and she remembers everything! Tanya was so helpful in sorting us out a package deal and the ladies who massaged us Wayan and Ketut, were lovely and had us so relaxed. The entertainment team at the hotel is honestly unmatched. Mete deserves a special shoutout, he had us playing water polo and darts everyday. Had us up dancing every night. He made sure the hotel had such a familiarity about it and made sure somebody was always genuinely happy to see you. He told us about some brilliant entertainment ideas he has for next year such as quizzes, club nights, a white party, pool party, movie nights and belly dancing evenings. Alongside the already amazing live music. I really hope he is able to organise this as it would add so much fun to the entertainment. Mete wasn’t only a great source of entertainment at the hotel, he also went absolutely above and beyond for my friends birthday as it occurred during our stay. He arranged a cake, champagne and sparklers during the evening entertainment and had all the guests singing to her. It was amazing! We didn’t ask for any of this, he done this simply to make our experience magic and it really was. I also want to mention Ali and Swetlana in helping organise my friends birthday. They also were massively accommodating and had our room decorated for the birthday! Ali made sure we had the bookings at the restaurant that we needed for the birthday and Swetlana made sure the decorations were correct and it all went smoothly. The cleaners, Birsen and Okka, also created birthday cakes out of the towels in our room as a surprise. It was amazing and so thoughtful. Ismail and Cansu at the hotel restaurant also brought out a special dessert and had everyone singing to her. All I asked Sundia to do for the birthday was hang some signs and book dinner for us - they went incredibly above and beyond. It was so special. The staff in general are just fantastic to deal with in any capacity. They will genuinely get you whatever you need, whenever you need it. At the bar and restaurant Eray was especially amazing, a literal ray of sunshine. Alongside Berna who always had a smile on her face and always had our drinks ready and waiting. Mustafa, Birkan, Eda, Sevda, Ekin, Mehmet, Sevval, Ahmet and Umit are also other staff members from the restaurant and bar that I would like to specifically mention for continuously going above and beyond. Every single one of you are superstars. I’m sure there are staff members I’m missing - I didn’t get a chance to get everybodies name. The staff in general are just a straight up 10/10. The food is fantastic and has so much variety. The kitchen team work so hard and put on a literal banquet of heavenly foods 3 times a day. They are wizards!! The private beach is ideal and literally about 20 steps from the pool bar. The island is a close boat ride away if you fancy doing some shopping or an evening out. There are also so many day trips in the area and we always do a classic 6 island boat trip for the day. I will say I do think the hotel could use marketing / social media more to advertise to the 30-40 generation more as there is so much the hotel provides that I know this age group would find ideal for a holiday. I can’t wait to come back next year and see you all again. Thank you as always Sundia for an amazing trip!

Our 3rd visit to Sundia and the best! We love it. Staff are so well trained, the hotel is spotless and the food better this year. We nearly booked again for next year but are a little concerned about the extra rooms being constructed, can the lovely facilities cope with more guests?

We have now stayed at this hotel four times, and every single year we come away wondering how it could possibly get any better — yet somehow it does. We genuinely cannot fault it. The hotel itself is lovely. It is a smaller, more intimate hotel rather than a huge resort, which is exactly what we love about it. The rooms are always spotlessly clean, comfortable and well looked after, with beautiful views, and the housekeeping team do such a lovely job. We always come back from the pool to find our towels made into different shapes, which is such a lovely little touch. You really couldn’t ask for more from the rooms. The location is fantastic too — right on the beachfront. The hotel has its own section of sun loungers on the beach, so you literally just walk across the little strip and you’re there. There is no fighting for sunbeds either, which is a huge bonus! There are always plenty available, and the loungers themselves are really comfortable with proper cushions. You also get a fresh pool/beach towel every day with the hotel’s towel card, so there is no need to bring your own. The food is another huge highlight. There is so much choice every day, with fresh salads, pasta, Turkish pide, different cheeses, desserts, ice cream and so much more (the cheese pide is a particular favourite of ours lol!). There is always plenty to choose from, and although there are also à la carte restaurants included within the stay, we honestly enjoyed the buffet so much that we preferred eating there. We also loved the drinks and the pool area — everything is just so well done. But honestly, the staff are what make this hotel. They are absolutely second to none. We have now been four times and the fact that staff remember you from previous years makes such a difference. You don’t feel like just another guest, you feel genuinely welcomed and remembered. Every member of staff we have met has been friendly, attentive and incredibly hardworking. We have to give a very special mention to Eray, who we affectionately call “Sunshine” because he genuinely is a ray of sunshine☀️ He is one of those people who can instantly brighten your day, and after coming back year after year, he is no longer just a member of staff to us, he is a friend. We are still in contact with him now that we’re home, which really says everything about the relationships you can build here! And then there is Mete, the hotel entertainer, who deserves a special mention of his own. Mete is absolutely unbelievable at what he does. He brings so much energy, fun and personality to the hotel, and when he is there, it is never boring. He gets everyone involved, gets people up dancing during the entertainment and keeps the atmosphere going all night. He has also become a really good friend to us since our previous visit, so he is now so much more than “the hotel entertainer”, he is someone we genuinely care about and will stay in contact with. Mete was unfortunately off for a couple of days while we were there this year, and it really showed us just how much of an impact he has on the atmosphere. The hotel genuinely did not feel the same without him. We even had other guests asking us where he was because they knew how friendly we were with him! Then when he came back, it immediately felt like the hotel had its energy back again. Mete is a huge credit to this hotel. The atmosphere he creates, the way he gets people involved and the relationships he builds with guests are something really special. You can tell how much people enjoy having him around, and for us personally, he is a massive part of why we love coming back. It is actually quite emotional leaving this hotel because of the relationships you make with the staff. We only came home last night and I genuinely cried knowing that I won’t see everyone again until next year. 😂 That probably sounds ridiculous when talking about a hotel review, but it honestly says more than anything else could about how special the staff are. We’ve also met some amazing people during our stays, which is another lovely part of the whole experience. It has such a friendly atmosphere where you can relax, enjoy yourself and feel completely at home. After four visits, we are already talking about coming back again next year — and I think that says everything. Thank you to every member of staff for making our stay so special once again. You are the reason this hotel keeps us coming back year after year. We can’t wait to see you all again! ❤️☀️

We stayed at the Sundia by Liberty from August 26th to September 4th. It was a rather nerve-wracking yet deeply meaningful trip for me, as it was the first time I was taking my mother abroad. The hotel completely exceeded our expectations—it is beautiful, cozy, and impeccably clean! We arrived four hours before the official check-in time. The staff kindly offered us the very first room that became available, but we decided to wait for one with a side sea view—and we certainly didn’t regret it! The sleep quality was outstanding: the mattresses are perfectly medium-firm, the pillows are incredibly comfortable, and the linens are dazzlingly white. A lovely touch was the plush white bathrobes and slippers emblazoned with the hotel’s logo. Housekeeping was prompt and thorough, and the maids were always smiling. We were treated to complimentary gifts on our arrival day and again for my mother’s birthday. A massive thank you to the hotel manager, Svetlana, for her exceptional care! The room is fully equipped with everything you could need: a mini-bar, a safe, and plenty of convenient, detachable hangers. The balcony even features metal railings specifically for drying wet swimsuits—a small detail, but incredibly practical! The balcony overlooks the promenade, which is an absolute delight for evening strolls. The Wi-Fi is excellent, with strong connectivity throughout the property and even on the beach (provided you hold your phone up a little). A major plus is the proximity to Dalaman Airport (just a 40-minute drive). The route is picturesque and far from exhausting. The return transfer was flawlessly organized: we were picked up right on the dot, exactly four hours before our flight, after receiving a written reminder the day before. The dining experience deserves special praise! The buffet spread is simply magnificent. There was always a fantastic selection of traditional Turkish dishes, two types of fish, beef, chicken, lamb, 6 to 8 varieties of cheese, fresh fruit, and greens. I am quite a picky eater, yet I derived immense culinary pleasure here. Snacks like pizza and burgers are also available, though I prefer not to eat between main meals. The breakfast Vienna waffles with strawberries were a particular delight. To avoid bringing back a few extra kilos, I stuck to croissants and bypassed the abundance of sweets. I must also highlight the local white wine: always perfectly chilled and served in crystal-clear glasses. And the coffee! Rich, robust, and brewed from an excellent machine. The beach is located right at the hotel’s exit. Let me debunk a common myth: you don’t need to cross the promenade, as the property leads directly onto the sand. The beach isn't particularly wide, but it stretches out quite far. Since the hotel is nestled in a bay, the sea is as calm as glass, and the entry into the water is short and gentle—absolutely perfect for adults. The surf zone features small pebbles, which keeps the water crystal clear and free of any murkiness. There are always plenty of sun loungers with mattresses and umbrellas available, and thankfully, no one is "reserving" them with towels early in the morning. Beach towels can be exchanged as many times as you like. The pools with their striking blue water are lovely to look at, but in August, I definitely preferred the sea. I also managed to visit the gym: the equipment is in great condition and fully equipped with everything you need, including comfortable dumbbells and a barbell. The true gem of this hotel, however, is the staff. I have never encountered such attentive, responsive, and genuinely warm service in any hotel in Turkey. The dining room service is beyond praise, and the reception team resolves any issue instantaneously. But what truly wins you over is the atmosphere: the staff operates like one big, close-knit family. It is heartwarming to see how they enjoy each other's company, have breakfast together in the restaurant, and support one another. It’s no wonder so many guests return time and time again (we even met someone on their eighth visit!). This is truly a choice made with the heart. The guest demographic is wonderfully diverse yet polite and friendly (Brits, Irish, Moroccans, Turks, Russians). The staff speaks excellent Russian and English. My only minor piece of feedback concerns the evening entertainment: it would be great to have a bit more variety in the repertoire. On the other hand, the soulful performances by the two guitarists and the female vocalist were absolutely delightful. Conversely, the performance by the Negrocapella group was a letdown; they were frankly off-key and inappropriately added shouts of "Come on! Come on!" to every single song. A tip for future guests: definitely take the water taxi to Fethiye! It’s an incredibly atmospheric destination with covered shopping alleys that are a joy to wander through, along with cozy cafes and sweet shops. The water taxis run every 30 minutes, so you can time it to catch a beautiful yacht and admire the marinas and ruins from the water. In the evening, you can simply stroll along the local promenade. Be sure to check out the street next to the Gloria Jeans café: it’s lined with goods from local artisans—bracelets, bags, and souvenir paintings crafted from painted stones. It’s wonderful just to browse and admire the craftsmanship! By the way, we didn’t dine at the promenade cafes, simply because the food at the hotel is far superior. To the dear staff of the hotel, thank you for a wonderful holiday and for giving my mother such beautiful first-time travel memories! We are already planning our next visit!
