Verde Hotel

First: I don’t expect 5 star whilst paying 3 star!!! In saying that I would put this as 2 star. I leave today when the hotel closes for the season and as far as food/service is concerned they have already checked out. Yesterday no rum in bar/ this morning no fried eggs/omelette until I pointed out that I lost full day on arriving late and as for today I am still a paying guest, to which the manager instructed someone to make them. I understand it’s closing but they still have 10 paying guests all who only leave late afternoon. In general the food is below average but lovely salad bar Rooms small but fine however not cleaned. We left the light on twice to be cleaned, all we got was fresh towels ( dirty ones not taken away) no surfaces wiped . Outside bar is only one and no comfortable inside seating area apart from 3 small tables. Service from bar staff on whole ok when they was not on their mobiles . Would I come here again ?? NO My daughter said “it must be bad if I’m not happy” as I stated at start you can’t expect 5 star at 3 star prices but I do expect more than I received.

First impression ok. The pictures are not accurate. No darts pool or other activities. Room not cleaned most days bed was made, only 1 day cleaned properly, bed sheets bobbly, one day wet pillow cases put on, Problems with lights one half of roomnot working, beds hard,toilet brown stains all over. Water puddles kept appearing by wall adjoining room. Food ok not much selection,frozen veg same every day, nice chunky chip, same salads every day only meat chicken which was rubbery, same desserts. Breakfast limited sausages always sliced, selection of eggs, around the pool mostly in shade sunbeds disgusting stained. Alcohol ok. Hairdresser at side awful have scabs all over head due to bleach being left on to long, he made excuses then said excema from water salon v tatty. Spa absolutely gorgeous best part of holiday. Staff friendly but many didn't understand English. V loud at night from 3 pubs lovely views, close to beach

Came in May had a great time came back in October what a difference had booked a twin room and checked with hotel and was told ok. Arrived at 0130 to be given a double room. Had to wait for it to be changed. Toilet seat broken reported it nothing was done. Really missed Anna she was so efficient and checked every day that the guests were happy. The hotel have lost a treasure with her.

Just returned from the Verde, we had a lovely time. I was worried before arriving due to some of the reviews on food, but I enjoyed the food, can get abit samie but plenty to eat. The pide and pizza in the afternoon was lovely. Meat balls everyday for lunch was abit much, change needed. Cocktails were awful, more training needed here, but enjoyed the efes and vodka. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room adequate, balcony very small, cleaned daily. Bars across road were noisy but knew this before we arrived as been coming to Içmeler for many years, they were not a problem as music goes off at 12.30am and if you shut doors can't hear it. Went out every evening for drinks and entertainment, also for a few meals just for a change. Sun beds most in the shade and always taken early. Would return again to the verde. Thank you

Basic hotel, definitely not 4 star! Food wasn't the best unfortunately, plates cold and limited choice. You wouldn't starve but only 2 main meal style choices with rice or constant raw broccoli or cauliflower! Breakfast was as bad. No sausages, beans always warm, and omelettes, although cooked fresh outside, none of cooks/staff ever used gloves. Good central location, but the constant noise from the 2 bars The Red Lion & Blues Brothers bar opposite always in competition with each other up to 12.30 every night. So ask for a pool view room or you'll get no sleep! Rooms small but clean. Balconies even smaller. No sunbeds available after 9am as towels were laid out all on beds all day, even though the rules say you can't!? Young staff on bar lovely (only 1 poolside bar too) we did end up going out a lot more to eat than expected. Overall, for a cheap All-inclusive hotel central to everywhere it's fine. But if you want bit more of a relaxing/quality hotel then this is not the place.
