Dhow Inn Boutique Hotel

We had a wonderful stay at Dhow Inn Boutique Hotel! The hotel is absolutely beautiful, and our room was lovely, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The beach and swimming pools were also stunning — the perfect setting to enjoy and relax during our time in Zanzibar. A special mention to the staff, who were incredibly kind, helpful, and attentive. We unfortunately arrived without our luggage, and the team helped us a lot during this difficult situation. Their kindness and support were greatly appreciated! The food was also delicious, with plenty of very tasty meals throughout our stay. A beautiful hotel, stunning surroundings, delicious food, and wonderful staff — we really enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend Dhow Inn Boutique Hotel!

Beautiful hotel at Paje beach. Approx 1 hour drive from airport. Comfortable rooms around pleasant pools. Stunning location nearby lively and beautiful beach. We stayed here for 5 nights with family of 5 in two rooms. Highly recommended.

When you step the gate of the property and you can immediately feel the wholesome family vibes. The rooms are well equipped and are set up in a way that invites you outside. All sliding doors face towards the pool. What a peaceful place. There is a great selection for food by favourite personally is the raw bar! Exceptional!!! There is cute little restaurant (one of 3) is called cat cafe. It’s cat friendly as there are a few cats that roam around and they are super duper cute! There is also a beach bar which is located by the beach and so relaxing.

The Dhow Inn is the most relaxing place. Rooms are perfect, beds so comfortable. You have shampoo, conditioner and shower gel in your room plus water, tea, coffee, sugar, milk daily. Staff super friendly, drinks amazing and food superb. As we are in low season the food is al a carte as low occupancy. The portions are huge!!! The pools are fantastic, beach is lovely also. We did a day trip to see the red monkeys then onto prison island then stone town. Well worth doing. We had a massage in hotel which was really nice plus they have a lovely boutique shop which I purchased a gorgeous handbag. You can have dinner on the sand which is so lovely. They have a little cat cafe which is brilliant. The cats are so friendly and Joanna the manager cares for them with so much love. You can make a donation to enable the vet to see to any cats if needed. An acrobatic show came to the hotel, amazing! The weather is a gamble this time of year! We had a couple of showers but we have had glorious sunshine, super hot. I would recommend this place in a heartbeat.

i spent 15 nights at this hotel the location was on point as i wanted a beach hotel but wanted to engage with the local people at the same time. The location of the DI was exactly what i needed I felt safe at peace and was just able to go about my spiritual business. There was an array of local restaurants that catered for every kind of diet Vegan/ vegetarian, pescatarian etc where my room was situated 206 was brilliant i really was able to find myself. the food was wholesome tasteful with all the spices. i had regular contact with the following managers Sarah and Joanna who regularly asked how i was and what i had been up too. Ibrahim on the desk had been very helpful before i had left the UK and made sure my request were all met. therefore i had a trouble free holiday. I would definitely recommend this hotel especially located where it is near all the shops, beach and local restaurants
