We booked a 5-star all-inclusive package through TUI Netherlands, expecting a luxury getaway, but the reality fell dramatically short. This hotel is a 3-star property at best by European standards. Here is what you actually need to know before booking: * The Room & View: We paid for a "garden view," but our window faced a waste container and dumping area. The air conditioning unit was covered in mold, rendering it unusable, housecleaning was subpar, and the Wi-Fi was so weak you couldn't even load social media. * The "All-Inclusive" Illusion: This was the biggest letdown. Despite paying for an all-inclusive experience, access was strictly limited to a single indoor dining hall during very restricted hours (7:00–10:00, 13:00–14:30, and 19:00–21:00). Hungry outside those times? You're out of luck. The only outdoor restaurant and cafe area were not included, so there goes more money If you want to enjoy eating or drinking outdoors. If you enjoy a decent espresso, forget it—you get a low-quality machine at breakfast, which is then turned off for the rest of the day. * Facilities & Service: The "beach towels" provided were actually frayed, worn-out bath towels. While the Filipino staff members were wonderful and friendly, the receptionist was consistently rude and unhelpful. * Food & Hygiene: The food tasted fine initially, but the exact same menu repeated every three days. While we didn't spot bugs in our bedroom (though several other guests reported them), we did notice insects near the kitchen area. * Beach & Vibe: If you are looking for a relaxing beach holiday, look elsewhere. The beach area is crowded with wesps. Final Verdict: It is deeply disappointing to visit a beautiful country like Albania, pay premium money for a high-end experience, and regret every cent spent. TUI seriously needs to audit the properties they affiliate with and apply realistic rating standards—labeling this as a 5-star hotel is completely misleading. Save your money and look elsewhere. Also the check-in and check-out process managed by TUI and the hotel was completely unacceptable. On our first night, we arrived around 22:30 to find no food or water available. Since tap water in Albania isn't drinkable, we were forced to figure out a local delivery app on our own just to get basic necessities. On our final day, after being forced to check out at 11:00, we were expecting to be able to use the hotel amenities until our 19:00 airport transfer. Instead of accommodating us, the receptionist insisted on checking whether we had eaten on our arrival day—implying that if we had, we wouldn't even be entitled to lunch. To top it off, they refused to store our luggage securely, leaving our bags completely unsupervised in an open area of the lobby for hours. A ridiculous and stingy way to treat paying guests that left an extremely bitter taste in our mouth. So we paid for 8 days and only a had 6 day worth vacation...

We had a unforgettable famiily dinner at Klajdi, all was superb!!

Overall, we had a good family holiday, although there are several areas that could be improved. At first, we were given a room on the fifth floor directly below the pool area, where loud discos took place every night until around 2 a.m. This made it very difficult to rest, especially when travelling with a child. The room was also prepared with a baby cot for our almost five-year-old child instead of a suitable bed. After we contacted TUI, we were moved the following day to a much quieter part of the hotel. We really appreciated the quick response and the help we received. The second room was comfortable and allowed us to rest properly. Although our booking was for two adults and one child, only two sets of towels were regularly provided, so we had to ask for an additional set. The lifts were also very slow. The food was generally good, with enough choice for lunch and dinner. Breakfast was also good, although we would have appreciated a little more variety in the mornings, especially during a longer stay. One of the hotel’s advantages is the strong Wi-Fi connection throughout the property, including on the beach. The beach was generally clean, and the sand was cleaned at the end of each day. However, cigarette butts were still sometimes left in the sand. Beach towels were provided, and guests could use them to reserve a sunbed for the day until around 7 p.m., which was convenient. The swimming area is limited on one side by a pier and the hotel café, where a boat departs, and on the other side by water sports activities. Even so, there was still enough space for swimming. For guests with an All Inclusive package, free drinks were available only from one bar near the pool. It was often difficult to find a free place to sit in this area. In the evening, part of the poolside space was used by the restaurant, which reduced the seating available to hotel guests even further. A major positive was the staff. They spoke English well and were friendly, polite and helpful. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated how quickly the room issue was resolved. Better room allocation for families, appropriate beds for children, the correct number of towels, more variety at breakfast, more seating around the pool and improved All Inclusive bar availability would make the experience even better.

We went as 2 couples first adult trip away without our kids. We were nervous based on reviews. Ignore them. I would describe this hotel and location similar to a typcal european beach resort crossed with service in middle east. It was so clean. Staff were friendly and spoke english well. The pool loungers dont get put out til 8ish so that meant no racing around and also they implemented a strict 30min policy if your stuff is on there its gone in the bucket if its not occupied after 30 min. The food was great. The beetroot and tuneric bread is to die for. We ate at the al carte one night it was lovely. They clear the loungers so you can book a table by the pool which was nice. The rooftop bar was good too and the jetty bar. Noise wise there is a roof top bar we were in the block under it. To be honest it didnt stop me sleeping. But if you are a light sleeper take ear plugs.

Just returned from Klajdi Resort & Spa and would recommend it, it is a lovely hotel, staff are very friendly and extremely helpful a big thank you to you all. The rooms were cleaned to an excellent standard even clothes were folded and tidy clean towels every day thank you. The guy on the pool bar worked so hard and so very polite and remembered our drinks thank you. Dining staff are very helpful too and always smiling they work tirelessly day after day always cleaning and making sure everything is how it should be they do a fabulous job. Hotel is close to all bars and restaurants and on the beach if you are going to Albania this is a very good choice of hotel.
