Very nice hotel with clean rooms and good food. The rooms in the main part of the hotel are quite traditional, while rooms in the annex attached to the hotel are more modern. Meals are chosen from a menu in the morning and usually include a vegan option and something for people with food allergies. The staff were very polite and helpful, both at the reception and in the restaurant. There’s also wi-fi and the hotel can send you 2 travel passes by email in the form of a QR code. One is for buses and the other for trains. Remember to save or take a screenshot of both of them! They can also print them out for a small fee.

My room was spotless always. Slight noise from street near hotel.. Food and drinks were excellent.The newly built terrace resturant area is gorgeous and the view of surrounding Tyrol..stunning. The lovely family that run this hotel are amazing..as are all of their wonderful staff..and gave our group a very moving account of how this hotel was founded by their grandparents. Rooms were neatly decorated.. a few negatives were that there was no air con or fan ..in 35° this would have been a small bonus. Also I think a small fridge, kettle or coffee machine..would also be an added comfort for guests. This hotel is in a perfect location for exploring all that this region has to offer.. The stunning scenery, mountains, lakes that can be visited are just incredible. Thank you to the family and staff for creating a wonderful friendly atmosphere and welcome for our stay.. I would love to come back one day soon. Austria will always have a piece of my heart.❤️

Nice and comfortable rooms, excellent restaurant, friendly staff.... we were very happy. Tip - if you value darkness in the room, ask for one of their renovated rooms with blinds

I stayed here for a week as part of a group with One Traveller. We used it as a base to explore the local region, Salzberg, Zell am Zee, etc It is located on the edge of town with easy access to the railway station and the main roads. It is family run and the whole staff are extremely friendly and go out of their way to be helpful. Rooms are generous and comfortable. the whole place is kept very clean. At the time of my visit they had builders doing an extension which meant I could not use my balcony. There wasa noise during the day but we were out most days. One evening there was some excellent folk dancing and another early evening there was a long procession of brass bands and hunters with rifles through the streets for a local festival. I would certainly go back if I was in the area

Stayed with a tour group. All the staff are a family team, happy and obliging. Traditional style, with some nicely designed amenities. Good choice of food, to accommodate all tastes. Relaxed atmosphere. Tip. The road and cafe/ restaurant/bar can get noisy into the early hours. Balconies on 3 sides, with nice views.
