Just returned yesterday from another weeks stay at this absolutely outstanding Family run hotel. This was our 2nd stay. If you live in the UK you can book it through TUI, making it very accessible as they fly you from your regional airport straight to Salzburg then they transfer you by taxi directly to the hotel. Much better than having to travel via hubs like Heathrow or Frankfurt. This hotel is situated directly in the village centre with a supermarket next door. Hotel is country house style, furnished to a very high standard. The food is exceptional. Rich hot and cold breakfast buffet each morning and 5 course evening meal. Real quality food served with the finest ingrediants. I always eat so well, when I stay here, they have a great wine list aswell to complement dinner. The family who own the property are very hands on. its evident how proud they are of the hotel by the long hours they work. Erik on the front desk is a a great addition to the team. I had brought my elderly Mother with me, as i know its a place where shes safe if i'm out hiking. Erik took the time to help us plan our stay. Aswell as organising Hiking adventures for me which are free with a very knowledgeable Hiking guide who guided in English, Erik was also able to suggest acyivitys that me and my mother could also do together. Erik speaks fluent English so please speak to him if you need info on the area or want to do some organised group hikes. Wellness faciities are amazing . Gusts have complimentary access to two spas the hotels celtic spa and the much larger alpentherme which is shared with other partner hotels and connected via an underground corridoor, so no need to go out the hotel. There are loads of different saunas but if you want a proper sauna experience, Id recommend the Cascadia sauna where they have an Aufguss sauna ceremony on the hour with some of the best sauna masters ive ever come across in the world particularly Simon and Robin who were amazing. There are loads of indoor and outdoor pools including a large outdoor, chemical free natural lake, where you swim naked, ideal on a hot summers day! If you want luxury accommodation at an affordable price , first class food, great service and access to world class spa, wellness and hiking trails this hotel is an absolute must ! Might come here twice next year.

This hotel is fabulous, in the centre of Bad Hofgastein. It is spotlessly clean. The reception staff are very helpful if you need assistance or advise.. Breakfast is buffet style with an extensive choice. The evening meal was delicious every night with a choice of main course. The hotel has its own good spa but is also connected via a tunnel to the Alpintherme spa. It was my anniversary stay and team was kind to upgrade us to the best room which was simply amazing suite. Thank you for the unforgettable stay.

This was my second visit to the hotel the was first last year, What makes the hotel su outstanding is the team working there from the room maids to the wonderful dinning room lady’s and gentlemen they just want you to have a memorable stay Now the food you will not go hungry . A 5 course dinner. And a buffet breakfast with eggs cooked to order My room looked brand new. With a very nice view I sat there most nights till sun set As I said it is run by the family Salfitzky. There son and daughter and there partners all help with the running dinning room or reception they are happy to help Once again thank you for a wonderful week. See you next year as it’s so good. This hotel is fabulous. It’s positioned right in the centre of Bad Hofgastein a stone’s throw from all the amenities. It is spotlessly clean. The reception staff are very helpful if you need assistance. Breakfast is buffet style with an extensive choice. The evening meal was delicious every night with a choice of main course. The hotel has its own spa but is also connected via a tunnel to the main spa. There is a supermarket directly opposite, and some super cafes within a short walk. The city bus stop is around 50m away. It is a short walk to the bus station.

A very friendly, rather sprawling hotel in the centre. Very convenient for the ski bus and only a 7 minute walk to the Gondola if you prefer. We stayed 7 nights on a ski package and enjoyed our stay. We had two rooms, a suite and a single. Service is very informal and friendly. Dress code at dinner is smart casual, probably bordering more on casual in my view. The food is very good and a decent selection of choice. The wine list isn't extensive but has some good options. Afrodite is lovely and helpful. She ensured any dietary requirements were adhered to. We had room 111, a junior suite which was very spacious and of course, being Austria, very clean. Lounge area comfortable and a balcony off it although no chairs to sit on outside. Curious. The bed was comfortable. Heating can be controlled and really good to have windows you can open. There is a fridge, kettle and bottled water daily. Bring your own teas/coffee as nothing is offered. Interesting compared to our usual stays at similar rated hotels Bathroom was a decent size, plenty of towels and shower pressure good. There is a hairdryer on the wall and the speed was quite good for this type of product. The spa area is good, very clean and well looked after. Water is available. Again, with a risk of repetition for this standard of hotel we are used to teas and flavoured water plus fruit and nuts being offered in the spa. The hotel offers access to the Alpen Therme complex via a corridor. You are given an access bracelet which can also be used to load up money so you can spend in the restaurant. Any credit remaining is refunded. This complex is good. The fabric free sauna/ pool area is great. Bath robes are extra at 15eu / week. This is annoying. I'd much rather they were included and have the cost absorbed in the rate. For a hotel of this rating I would expect a robe plus slippers in any event. The ski and boot rooms are well located downstairs. The bus stop is 50m, turn left out of the ski room. The ski area is very good with lots of long, wide well groomed runs. I'd certainly consider returning to this Ski area, Ski Armade.
