This hotel genuinely merits high praise. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth, friendliness, and exceptional hospitality. The hotel itself exudes charm, from its elegant interiors to the scenic exteriors. Our room, adorned with pinewood and thoughtful cozy touches, showcased Austrian authenticity. Beyond the comfort of the beds and the convenience of a convertible couch for two kids, the bathroom was generously spaced with a separate toilet. The delightful addition of bathrobes, even for the little ones, was perfect. However, the crown jewel was the amazing balcony view—words fall short in describing its sheer beauty. The vast swathes of verdant green across the Alp mountains in summer left us in awe, and we could only dream of its winter wonderland transformation. The dining experience, or the 3/4 board as they put it, was impeccable. Breakfast boasted a plethora of choices, from a dedicated egg station to an array of fresh fruits and juice options, ensuring every palate was catered for. Dinner was a symphony of flavors, with a diverse salad bar, perfectly curated menus, and a sommelier ready to introduce us to Austria’s finest wines—all of which were fairly priced. Adding to the hotel’s allure is its wellness facilities, complete with indoor and outdoor pools, a range of saunas, serene relaxation rooms, and massage services on demand. Commendations are due to the staff for their unmatched service, combining warmth with professionalism. Kudos to the entire team for their unwavering commitment to cleanliness, superior dining, and wine choices. In Kleinarl, your hotel sets a benchmark that few can rival. We stayed in an amazing apartment, owned by the Schernthaner family, 5 min walking distance from the hotel and had breakfast and dinner in the restaurant at Hanneshof. The food was absolutely amazing - definitely one of the best breakfast brunches we’ve had in 50 years of traveling. The staff was welcoming, nice and comfortable. The location is great - close to bigger cities, hiking routes and in the middle of a beautiful and not too touristic area. Our stay was as good as it can get and we would most definitely recommend the hotel to anyone who wants an excellent experience in the Austrians Alps!

I stayed in this hotel for a week with my family. We were all happy with our choice. The rooms were really big and comfortable. The hotel has a warm ambiance. We were delighted with the food. Breakfast, after ski snacks and dinner - everything very tasty. We also enjoyed the relaxation area which after a whole day of skiing was a blessing (especially the water beds!). The only thing is that the hotel is not right beside any ski slope. I think they have a shuttle bus, but we used our own cars to get to the slopes each day. It was not a problem in the end. All in all, I would recommend this hotel.

We just would like to thank for the warm welcome and the nice atmosphere we had during this week with our 4 children. we felt like we were at home. very friendly staff , excellent food at the restaurant. premium service . we could see that each detail into the hotel has been deeply thought , and everything is done so that we feel at home. it is more than an hotel , but a family pension with 4 stars . thank you again Sebastien and his family

The hotel is technically nice with many facilities but the owners wife who is running the restaurant felt like mother-in-law. They sit 4 families to 3 tables and after our humble question if we could have our own she behave like it was our mistake that the restaurant was overbooked. One of our children also put carrot from salad bar into the soup and there she was again - hauling "we are 4stars restaurant and should not be done here". I felt like a little boy :-( .... Same message could have been delivered with a smile and positive attitude (for a 4-star restaurant). I am sorry for the rest of the personnel who were great people, only this lady changed the whole experience. Food: Breakfast was great, dinner good (for Austria), but you would be better off eating the dinner in any random restaurant in Italy. Although the owner later came to understand and apologize, it could not change much the bad energy. I do not recommend this hotel for family vacation. Next time we are going to spend our holidays in north Italy again, where we had only the best experience being guests. This Austrian experiment was unsatisfactory.
