Hotel Panther'A

Stayed here before and really enjoyed the experience, however this year the food was very disappointing. Hotel is lovely but not the food sadly .

Perfect location for ski holiday. Very comfortable beds, spacious family room. Very friendly staff. Relaxing spa after a day on slopes. A huge problem is the food. Breakfast is mediocre at best. Lovely freshly baked bread everyday and decent coffee but that’s where the positive ends. Watch out for the soft boiled eggs, they are raw. A very limited selection and we are not fussy eaters. Watered down juices, anaemia bacon. Poor selection of often hard fruit. Evening meal was at best edible. No tea/ coffee after evening meal. We had been looking forward to some authentic Austrian meals however of the 7 nights half board we ate only 3 evening meals as we were just too tired to go out and we had paid for it but food was not enjoyable. This really is not good enough especially price comparing with other similar hotels. Hopefully they will address this as the location really can’t be beaten in Saalbach.

Hotel is in good position but the restaurant cant deliver when there are lots of customers. The food standard is also quite bad.

We stayed in a superior room with a balcony . The room was big enough for 3 people . We loved the double bed, mattress was really comfortable ! We were greeted every day by friendly staff and found them helpful with all our requests. The breakfast did not have a wide variety of choice but what they had was more than enough and we loved it . The pool was warm enough and the Finnish sauna was perfect . The boot room was more than big enough for all the guests that stayed the 6 days we were there . The location must be the best in town ! We would def recommend this hotel ! We will be back)

The food at breakfast and dinner was absolutely dreadful, cold scrambled eggs in the morning and dried out fruit and no pieces of fruit on offer which should be a given! At dinner time very little meat in dishes, bought in fried products and we left the table feeling hungry. Witnessed other guests walking out during their meal. Didn’t touch desserts as were left out right from the start of the evening and did not look at all apetizing. No way is this hotel worthy of a 4 star. So disappointing and would not return or recommend.
