BergBaur

For a hiking holiday (Grossvenediger climbing) with my son i booked this hotel as a "base camp". We stayed here for a small week and were very satisfied about the room, accommodation, hospitality of the staff and the restaurant. The rooms are spacious and clean with an excellent bathroom and kitchen. The swimming pool and spa are a welcome relaxation after a long and strenuous hiking day. The restaurant offers excellent food and the service tops it off. If we plan a next hiking trip in this area we will definitively return to BergBaur.

A crazy hotel in every respect. Definitely go and enjoy it! Everything was just right there. Great welcome at a family-run hotel. The food was delicious and sufficient in every respect. The hotel amenities are worth seeing. The view of the mountains is super!

We got a gift certificate and were at BergBaur for the first time. Our room was a bit older (main house), whereas some decor was new (and probably homemade :). Everything was very neat and clean - the towels were particularly fluffy. The breakfast buffet was great - almost everything regional or even homemade (e.g. all bread). The dinner also impressed us heavily - intolerances were reacted spontaneously and creatively, so I didn't have to compromise on the menu :) All the staff and the owner family were extremely warm and eager, so we felt very comfortable. In general, there is a lot of love in the detail - everything is decorated coherently and you notice that new ideas are constantly being implemented (by yourself). The direct view of the Großvenediger was the icing on the cake.

Beginning of February as a family from Friday to Sunday for skiing in the BergBaur. Booked online through third party double rooms. It was great that the ski pass was included. On site then get a room in the apartment house at check-in - that was really a sensational, nice upgrade. Simply good space for all... Ski bus stops a few meters outside the hotel. Otherwise, you can quickly get to Neukirchen by car or further... In the terrain also in winter a bit something to explore, especially for children nice....chickens, cows, swings, small spring uphill towards the enchanted forest... Most importantly, the people totally nice and helpful. Even after the felt 1000. Ask for tips still relaxed and especially with local expertise. Also in the restaurant, no matter if morning or evening always friendly and also relaxed with nem 2 and 4 year olds....really strong. Just like the general "audience." Real feel-good factor. On the subject of restaurant: Breakfast great. Everything you need, local and a few specials like fried eggs fresh from the pan to order....and for the kids green BergBaur eggs with Smily :-) . Even in the evening you can stay safely at BergBaur. Small but good map and compared to the offers in the village completely "competitive" in terms of taste and price in the positive sense. Cool is also the collection of wooden games, which not only bridges the waiting time for food but from day 1 was part of the fixed table equipment of our kids. After check-out we were able to leave our luggage in the BergBaur and still use the day for skiing & tobogganing. Changing & (if necessary) showers is pragmatically possible in the wellness area. Really easy. The heroic deed at the end: the 4 year old "forgot" his stuffed toy in the room (or hid it in the bedside drawer for sleeping) - all levers were set in motion, including search of the room... Meanwhile, however, it has already been saved during the cleaning and has found its way back via the reception to the then happy owner....a big THANK YOU to the whole team for a nice short break!

The rooms were relatively large and always clean... staff very friendly!!! Breakfast was also good (the only thing that bothered me a little was that they only had natural yoghurt, a fruit yoghurt would have been nice too, wouldn't it?) Location a bit remote but nice and quiet
