Hotel Lampenhäusl

Great hotel. It was very nice stay. Very clean and tidy rooms. Beds are comfortable. Hosts are nice and helpful. Really good food. Slopes are about 15 minutes away. Skibus stop next to the hotel. Big parking. We never had a problem finding the spot. We Will come back for sure.

Wonderful hotel in a small town at the base of the High Alpine Road. Fusch is an hour drive from Salzburg, and as a homebase you are an hour from endless mountains, skiing, lakes, the "Top of Salzburg," and other beautiful sights. Everyone, from the owners to the wait staff, is friendly and helpful. The room is well appointed with a relaxing balcony. The restaurant is excellent. The best part is that you’re away from the touristy mess of Kaprun and Zell am See, which you can visit and then come back to your quiet place – the only “tourists” here are Austrians and the drivers returning from the High Alpine Road for dinner and a Stiegl. As I said, this is a great homebase for visiting the region.

Geat hotel near Kaprun and Zell am See. 15 minutes ba car. Skibus next to hotel. Very good and fresh food. Hosts are very helpful and very nice. Rooms are really clean and tidy with comfortable beds. Great value for money. I'm definietly going back there next season.

Me and my son spent two nights in Hotel Lampenhäusl during our recent ski trip in Salzburg Land. We have been very positively surprised by this three star hotel. Hotel is situated almost in the centre of Fusch an der Glocknerstraße right next to main road (Großglockner Hochalpenstraße). We stayed in double room on 1st floor that was spacious enough, clean and convenient and the price per night was really reasonable. Perhaps the small problem was the heat during the night inside the room due to not properly working heating / cooling system and a bit hard pillow to which I am not used to. On the other hand wi-fi worked properly in entire facility (i.e. room, restaurant etc.), service was great (desk clerk, staff in the restaurant…), breakfast with substantial variety of meals was satisfactory as well and dinner from à la carte menu was good and tasty. We used the opportunity to store our ski boots in internal ski depot as well as we tried the facilities in dayroom. Unfortunately we had no chance to try sauna and relax area due to limited time.

Great hotel with spacious rooms and comfortable beds, it has ski/snowboard room and place to rent equipment. Excellent staff and tasty local cuisine. There is also a foosbal, small pool table and 3(!) saunas - finnish, bio and infrared with a good relax zone with possibility to go outside to cool-off. Very, very dark during nighttime to allow for good sleep and amazing view.
