Hotel Kirchberger Hof

We have just come back from spending Christmas in this hotel. It was beautifully decorated, in all the communal areas, which gave us a great welcome. We only paid for a basic room but it had a new bathroom all immaculately clean, very comfortable beds, a balcony with a view of the snow covered mountains, what more could one want. When it comes to food, we were spoilt for choice, all cooked to a very high standard, and something for all tastes. The Christmas Day and Boxing Day meals were outstanding. The wonderful staff (and I really mean staff who could not have done more for us) had decorated the tables in such a decorative, tasteful, and festive way, they were a joy to behold. The staff at this hotel are a real asset to anyones stay. As for the Kirchberg all the lifts were open even on Christmas Day, so plenty to do even if you didn't ski. We will stay here again, and try the summer season next time.

A good hotel in a lovely village for skiing or hiking. Pre arrival the service was outstanding from Alexandra . The property is a little out of the way up a hill from the main village but that’s ok, nice views and all the facilities you need . Room well appointed and clean and secure. Check in and check out excellent and ski hire and passes easily sorted at reception along with transport when needed . The restaurant and bar could be improved a little to compete with the local offerings and outside of Alexandra simple questions on directions, local services and things to do and see weren’t really able to be answered which was disappointing. Essentially though a great stay and would return

Excellent reception staff, friendly and helpful. Very quiet area, no noise at night. Very complete breakfast. Parking on the street is limited, so it might be useful to reserve a garage space. Hotel street (Seestrasse) is very small but well marked,

We visited this hotel as part of as bus tour. The facilities were fine, although there no laundry facilities available, other than paying €35 a bag for tour washing to be done through reception. The meals offered in the dining room were good, although the quality of the wine offered, over and above that provided by the tour, was only average. If you were in the area in winter you would be in heaven, but personally I thought there was little this small town could offer me.

We stayed one week at this hotel at Sylvester time. The rooms were clean, the wifi was without problem. The pool was very good. The restaurant was spacious for everyone but the choices were limited. The afternoon buffet has only two options. The reception is not welcoming at all both in correspondance and check-in. The parking place is charged 6 euro per day. (Reasonable) Not suitable for kids as there is no place to play or entertain.
