Schwendberger Hof

We have recently returned from a 6 night stay at this lovely hotel. Very spacious comfortable rooms with good bathroom facilities. Family run with 3 generations harmoniously involved in all aspects of the hotel. The family & staff could not be more friendly or helpful & are really keen to ensure that you enjoy your stay with them. Breakfast & evening meals were delicious with great choice & variety & all home cooked. The hotel commands an elevated position situated directly above Hippach & own transport is beneficial although the local ski bus stops directly outside the hotel with good links to all the ski stations in the Zillateral Valley. We could not recommend this hotel more highly for a good value, comfortable stay with lovely cuisine & friendly staff & owners.

What a wonderful stay. 3 generations of the same family could not have been more hospitable and between them make this a very special place. Transport to slopes included in ski pass and right outside hotel. Spacious and comfortable rooms, fantastic views. We all enjoyed the food :home cooked, locally sourced and plentiful!

IT is a rather small hotel but with very spacious and well equipped and properly maintained rooms. Also the balcony is very big and offers a great view over the valey. It is in a quite area outside the village, so you do need a car or take the (ski-)bus to get anywhere. Also because it is on a steep hill. So the walk from the village to the hotel, despite a relatively short distance would take you quite some energy and I didn't get the impression it would be a save walk either. The personell is very friendly and helpfull. IT is a family run hotel and you feel that! As well the breakfast as the dinner are rather simple but tasty and a appears to be of good quality. In the morning they cook you eggs fresh the way you want them. Despite comments I read we never experienced any issue with things missing from the buffet.

Hotel located on high elevation above vilage - allmost all rooms with fatastic view on Hippach/Ramsau. Really nice, spacious rooms. Breakfast/Dinner - vriet and testy food. Familie Kroll - hosts, do everything to make guests happy.

We spent our summer vacation there and I must say that it was a wonderful relaxation for us. The staff was very warm and the food was a hit. Very varied and very delicious. We liked the hotel manager's mother the best. She is simply part of it. Every evening, she very warmly explained the buffet to us and also helped with choosing the tasteful dishes. A special thanks also goes to the kitchen staff and the service. We can 100% recommend this family-run hotel. Thanks again for the lovely stay. Best regards from the Buchda family.
