We had a wonderful week in the Alpenrose during the Easter holidays. Exceeded our expectations during our first visit to Kühtai. We loved that the hotel was ski in/out, perfect for young kids who don’t like to carry their own skis! We booked an apartment room and were delighted to discover we had been upgraded to a tower suite on arrival. Suite was huge with 2 bedrooms, bathroom and toilet room upstairs and lounge area and toilet downstairs. Hotel all spotlessly clean and reception staff very friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast and dinner was nice, good variety and chocolate eggs on table on Good Friday a nice touch. We enjoyed one night with live entertainer after dinner. Our kids enjoyed the kids play room and hotel felt safe for them. They liked the pool also.

Returned again this year, great hotel on the slopes, ski in/ski out, fantastic food with a huge choice for every possible taste and as much as you want. lovely room , very clean and tidy all over the hotel, the kitchen, waiting and reception staff were great, very happy and friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them, will be going back again for sure!, could,nt fault it. the ski room is vast with heated ski boot driers and just step out the door onto the snow, could,nt ask for anymore - cant wait to return!.

On the positive side: when I stepped out of my room, which was kept relatively cool, the aisle was comfortably warm. I really enjoyed that. Staff at the bar and restaurant area were permanently out to sell you some drinks. The working conditions in the kitchen cannot be very good, because the employees, presumably hailing from eastern european countries, were never in a good mood. If you want to buy some extra softdrinks, etc. there is only one combined convenience-and souvenir store in town, and this one is a real rip- off. They should rename it to cash- cow instead of Kühtai.

We are right back from one week at Alpenrose Hotel and we have really enjoyed our stay. We have had two connected double rooms on the 2nd floor (275 and 276) with very nice view to the Igloo Hotel and mountains. The rooms are very spacious, clean and comfortable. Food is great with a rich variety for both breakfast and dinner (our kids loved the oven-made pizza buffet). The staff (receptionists, restaurant, bar, spa, children care taker, etc...) is super nice and friendly, always trying to help to make your stay perfect. Our kids have enjoyed a lot the children playroom and the indoor pool. The new years eve dinner and party was the perfect fit for families. The spa and massage service is also very good. The hotel is super well located next to ski lift, gondola and ski chair so it is a true ski-in/ski-out hotel (our instructor was picking us up outside the hotel skis room). Gerber Sports is right opposite the hotel (easy and quick to rent all needed material). We have enjoyed a lot our stay and would like to come back to Alpenrose in the future!
