Alua Helius Bay – Another Beautiful Holiday This year’s stay at Alua Helius Bay was truly outstanding. Our holiday here has become something we look forward to every year, and once again, we left with beautiful memories and already looking forward to coming back. From the moment we arrived, Juliya Peycheva and her wonderful team made us feel warmly welcomed and genuinely cared for. Juliya once again went above and beyond to ensure that we were comfortable, happy and able to enjoy every moment of our holiday. Her kindness, warmth and genuine passion for what she does make such a difference. A very special thank you to Juliya, Ivelina, Michael and the entire reception team. They are all exceptional. What makes them stand out is that their care for guests feels completely genuine. They truly want people to be happy, comfortable and have the best possible experience during their stay. Their warmth, smiles and willingness to help are a huge part of what makes this hotel so special to us. The food was also fantastic. There was plenty of variety to suit different tastes, and we could see the care and effort that went into every meal. A big thank you to the chefs, kitchen and restaurant teams for making our dining experience so enjoyable. The cleaning team also deserve recognition. Our room was always beautifully looked after, and a very special thank you to Vesi for taking such great care of our room and always making sure we had everything we needed. Her hard work and attention to detail were very much appreciated. We had a truly beautiful holiday and made so many special memories. Although the hotel itself is lovely, it is the people who make our experience so special and are the reason we continue to look forward to returning year after year. And, of course, a heartfelt thank you to Juliya Peycheva — a truly beautiful person inside and out. Her kindness, caring nature and genuine passion for her job are evident in everything she does. She has a wonderful ability to make guests feel valued and cared for, and we are extremely grateful for everything she does. We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! Our child had so much fun and really enjoyed all the activities and entertainment. The staff were incredibly kind, friendly and helpful, always making us feel welcome. The pool area was great, especially the separate children’s section. There was also a lovely entertainment programme and a good selection of food and drinks, so there was always something for everyone. The hotel has a very welcoming and family-friendly atmosphere, which made our holiday relaxing and enjoyable for all of us. We had a fantastic time and will definitely come back again! ❤️

Lovely big hotel with amazing services, great and colorfyl cuisine with amazing fishes from Black Sea, caviar with prosecco every single dinner, and so many options even gluten free options. We used this for breakfast glutenfree break. So much food to chaose from. Animation programme performers and activities was really great not only for families and couples too. Each evening there was different night programme and even there was lot of families with kids, the hotel was not loud, personnel was really nice, comunnicational and lovely, they would try to fulfill every your meal. There is also hotel doctor room next to lobby 24/7. The hotel is suitable for disabled people. The beach was amazing and soooo large! We have been there first week of September the wild was little chill, but sea was still warm and clean. Pool outside the hotel was exceptionally clean like we have never seem before! You have lot of sport of activities include in all inclusive. We also liked the option to secure our baggages in secured baggage room after check-out as we needed to leave the hotel only at 7 p.m. and you can yse the hotel services even until that time. Our stay was so goood recommend this hotel definitely if you want to have vacation near the Black Sea, and you can see lovely out town - UNESCO heritage - Nesebar it is one hour by bus from hotel.

Great location directly on a sandy beach with the local town with restaurants bars and shops 5 mins walk away. The hotel was clean. The pool was busy but there were always loungers available. There are reserved ones for my favourite club guests which was nice but we preferred nearer the pool so only used them once. The spa area and indoor pool wasn’t great. The pool looked dirty and the charge for the steam room was EUR40 which is ridiculous. The spa treatments were overpriced too. The room was great and spacious with a sea view and cleaned daily. Food was not that great but we didn't go hungry. Managed to book into both of the other restaurants and the asian one was nice. You can book them in the entrance of the main dining room. Do it early in your holiday to get a space. There is also a pool snack bar serving pizza fruit cakes and ice cream. We went on a trip to Nessabar which was lovely. All in all a good holiday with great weather.

The biggest downside, by far, was the freezing cold water in both the main pool and, even worse, the children’s pool. The sea was noticeably warmer. As a result, very few people, especially children, used the pools. Another disappointment was the lack of sunbeds on the beach. The bars also offered no imported alcohol in all inc package. Our room on the 7th floor had sloped ceilings, significantly reducing the usable space and causing us to constantly hit our heads. We also booked a sea view but received a side sea view, which apparently is treated as the same category. The hotel is clearly showing its age — the facade and some interior areas need renovation. On the positive side: helpful staff, tasty food, interesting evening shows, several bars, and a very good kids’ club with around 5 hours of childcare daily and great team. Unfortunately, despite the good food and other positives, the pool temperature we definitely would not return.
