Alua Helios Bay

The hotel was very clean & excellent facilities,food was good choice every day. The staff were very helpful throughout our stay the only slight downside was there were no sunbeds belonging to the hotel on beach.

Great holiday! Staff were so friendly and the animation team are so hardworking. They were excellent with our toddler! We really enjoyed our stay and the hotel, rooms are clean and comfortable. Air con didn’t work in our first room and after a couple of complaints and speaking to our Jet2 rep, we managed to get upgraded to a superior room where air con worked fine. Food is ok but very pork-heavy which unfortunately wasn’t for us. There is a little corner shop onsite which is handy but be aware it’s pretty extortionate! I.e. around €5 for a big bag of crisps. Obzor is ok but not really a lot around, food is pretty basic and again, pizza, fish and pork-heavy. The pool is also Arctic sea temperature, including the kids’ pool which may be due to us being early in the season where they haven’t had time to heat up properly. All in all, a really good holiday, we may return to Bulgaria but possibly a different area.

Lovely hotel situated on the Black Sea. 3rd visit in a row for us and hopefully will be back in 2027. Drinks okay but food can get repetitive after 7 days. Hotel interior is immaculate but exterior could do with a paint job. Room was perfect as usual. We always take advantage of the My Favourite Club offer as you get access to sun beds in a secluded part of the hotel. You can book 2 themed restaurants but we only managed to book one as the Asian themed restaurant was fully booked. Friendly staff at reception, Bars and Restaurants. The only downside is the same holiday will cost us £600 more in 2027 which seems excessive.

Very good food, animation team and also personal.

Been coming here for four years and will return next year. Myself and my husband feel so relaxed and welcome here, we just love MF Club just perfect for us. Rooms are spacious. Great choice of food and drinks and staff are so friendly and accommodating. A+ holiday 😎
