Our favourite hotel, wonderful location, great facilities, good food. The staff are fantastic, so kind and attentive - shout out to Olena at the pool and Marcella at the bar, two thoroughly fabulous ladies ❤️

For anyone needing some serious Rest & Recuperation away from modern life's challenges, the Grecian Sands provides an excellant solution. The location is idyllic, the facilities are first rate, the staff are welcoming and attentive, the local wine is superb (try the Shiraz), and the varied buffet food is superb. Should you wish to go out for lunch or dinner, there are a variety of very good restaurants near by. Enjoy!

This is the first time I have ever written an on-line review. And why now, you may ask? I feel that it is the best way I/we can express our appreciation for what has been a truly amazing 2 weeks in Europe’s equivalent of the Caribbean. It was our first trip to Cyprus, and to this hotel. It was the only place that ticked off all of the boxes I had; and I have absolutely no regrets. In addition to the 1’243 positive reviews, what also convinced me to take a chance was the fact that many of the guests had been returning for 5, 10, 20 and even 30 years. The hotel, the management and the staff not only met my expectations; they exceeded them in every category. While I now agree with those 1’243 other reviews, and give the Grecian Sands a 5/5 across the board, I take exception to the 5/5 rating of the service and the staff. Based on my experiences over the last two weeks, they clearly deserve a 10! It was the diversity of guests and the services provided by the staff that has made this vacation such a joy. We met people of all ages, all walks and stages of life, and from a total of 21 different countries. A respectful calm reigned over every corner of this establishment. If there was an issue, it was dealt with discreetly and with intelligence; both by the service staff, and by the life guards, who assisted many guests in small but important ways. What do Christos, Avraam, Pedro, Georgina, Yoda, Adalina, Sansari, Stella, Dixit, Valentis, Christina, Fitos,, Gopal, Youu Vii, Dil Jot ,Tommy, Andreas, Geórgios, Lubie, Dawa, Christina, Sharif, Mohammed, Juan, Ivan, Savva, Oleana, Alina, Irene, all have in common? They are the essence of what gives the Grecian Sands, its heart and soul, day in and day out. Coming from a family of hoteliers, I can assure you that this is not the norm; and they make the Grecian Sands a Mediterranean pearl. I have also read some negative reviews, and struggle to believe that they were staying in the same hotel. My husband and I have just stayed here for the 15th time and love it so much we decided to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary by renewing our vows at the hotel! I cannot thank Georgina (wedding & special events co-ordinator) enough. From the minute we decided to do it, she couldn’t have been more helpful and supportive, even providing recommendations for suppliers. The ceremony was so well organised, and it was a truly special moment saying ‘I do’ again in the beautiful gardens with the most perfect view! If you are planning to marry or renew your vows then I can highly recommend Faik Iraz Wedding Photography. He is VERY talented and a true artist. Our sneak peek photos are just beautiful and I cannot wait to see them all! Andrea from Creative Cuts Bridal Hair Studio was so very lovely and a joy to have around on such a special day. The hotel is located perfectly for Ayia Napa. You are close enough to it to get to some fab restaurants, but far enough away that you’re not disturbed by noise. It’s right by the beach which is accessed via steps, and there’s also a path that goes along the cliff tops which takes you to Lovers Bridge and beyond, perfect for your morning run or walk. The hotel is clean, well maintained and the staff are so lovely. They are polite and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The long term members of staff always recognise us! We were on a Bed & Breakfast basis as we like to eat out. The breakfast was plentiful with lots of choice, and we had lunch there a couple of times. The food is very good and the portions huge! There are plenty of sunbeds so no need to rush out at 6am! It’s a holiday after all and you are supposed to relax! There were always sunbeds available even during the day, and there’s always the option of the beach. Beach towels are provided and you can get new ones every day. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. Avraam, the hotel manager, is lovely and very funny, and is always out and about interacting with guests! He leads by example and the hotel and the team are a credit to him. We cannot wait to come back next year!

Grecian Sands has to be one of the best hotels I have stayed in. It has an excellent location about 15-20 minutes walk from Ayia Napa centre, just be aware of the slight incline if you are walking back. Located right by the beach, accessible by about 30 steps. Every part of the hotel was spotlessly clean and every member of staff we interacted with were very friendly. The room was cleaned to a very high standard. Some parts of our room were in need of updating but the beautiful view and huge balcony more than made up for it. We stayed b&b and the breakfast buffet was amazing. We spoke to some guests who were all inclusive and they said the evening buffet was just as good. When you’re at the pool or beach are then just scan the QR code on the parasol and you can order drinks to be brought to your sunbed. Overall a fabulous stay and I would not hesitate to book this hotel again if I was in the area.
